Is it that one who does the fish an chips and all that gubbins…
The liver is overcooked. I first cut the liver into strips then add seasoning and flour. After frying the bacon fry the onions until soft and browning. Then fry the liver until seared all over and remove. Add RED wine reduce to a syrup, add BEEF STOCK and reduce, add back the liver and onions until sauce thickens. Also good with kidneys and mushrooms added.
Short and to the point, nice recipe thank you.
Tell me, How do you cook onions in 3 minutes? bearing in mind the liver is aready overcooked when you put the onions in.
Good question!
I’m coming from a plumber to all those seen him dump grease in the drain that goes to a grease collector which is quite a grease trap 99.9% out of houses. Do not have those who do not pour grease down your dreams please have a good day.
Do I need to soak the liver in milk for 30 mins?
Cant beat overcooked liver with undercooked onions
Where's your video of you cooking it wanker?
Mans is wearing minimum required PPE for working in Chernobyl
Grandma’s recipe with a few kicks
Watery shit
That ain’t spaghetti amigo
Slowly caramelising the onions first for at least twenty minutes then a further ten minutes with the bacon makes a wonderful gravy poured over separately fried liver that’s then finished with butter is the usual way we do it in the uk give it a try served with cabbage and mash potatoes yummy 😘
good thing you're wearing gloves....🤣
I grew up on the West Coast, and my mother made liver and onions at least once a month. My parents were avid hunters, so it was venison liver more often than beef. I love beef liver seasoned with oregano, salt and pepper, cooked rare, sliced on top of my salad with homemade italian salad dressing. I love all animal liver. Grouse liver doesn't have much flavor, but I eat the hearts and livers anyway. I recently moved to the East Coast and had liver and onions made with bacon for the first time. Yummy!
Looks great. About to try it. Thanks
New fan! I particularly love that he "cooked he bacon until it was nice and brown and crunchy". He didn't "fry it off" or "cook it off" or god forbid, "sweat it" until it was "caramelised". And at the end I'm just about drooling.
Going to give it a try. Like the Red Sox hat.
Good on you Rick - delicious recipe! Best wishes from London, UK
Do you soak it in milk first?
sorry but the first biggest mistake was pouring the bacon fat down the drain when that is your flavor base. Secondly as a plumber, even though your sink drain is connected to a grease trap every professional kitchen should have a place to save certain flavored fats. But even more, pour it in a container, not down the drain.
Yes, I felt a “No, don’t do that”!
I supposed he was pouring it into a container waiting at one side of the enormous sink, far from the drain. No one's stupid enough to pour grease down a drain.
My son and I love liver...my brother hates it
that look s delicious!! well done chef!
using a metal scoop in a tefal pan lol
You didn't mention great with rice ? You must be a rice hater ? I love rice ! Rice goes with everything ! One of my favorite ❤. Chinese combination fried rice seve with live & onions ! 😋 😋 😋
Just because he didn't mention rice doesn't mean that he HATES it. It is his personal SUGGESTION.
You are a special kinda stupid. "Rice hater"😶
I'm Ok with Fry and Bacon up until my friend cook this in camp, he was an ex-Navy cook. That was the best Bacon & Fry I've ever have.
Thank you for sharring. I love liver too with mass. But i will try to cook your way. Beautiful. God bless you.
I too grew up eating liver onions and bacon and love it.also had lambs kidneys on toast with gravy so good it was the best
Rubbish American chef . He wouldnt last more than 5 mins in a London kitchen . Just one observation amongst a few. Who told you its ok to boil the sauce after the butter is added?? Get back to a good sciance cookery book m8 .EMOLICIFICATION.& those onions oh deary me.
Grandmother grew up during the Great Depression she always made this when I came over 8 year olds don't like liver and onions but I did. With side mashed potatoes, peas& pearl onions and glazed carrots it was delicious. I want to find a new way to make this worthy of a Michelin star
Love this! I'm learning to cook and this looks super simple. Thank you for the videos!
Some yrs later i hate liver, but u gave me an awesome idea, for my husband
Nice presentation without the bs.

YUMMY 😋 THANKS YOU GOODNESS 🌟❤️🖤💚🤎 FAMILY DAPHNE COTTON ALWAYS 💜 AWESOME,
Yummm
Should such thinly sliced pork be boiled for so long in the marsala then chicken stock? I'm afraid it'd have the texture of overdone meat.
Bathroom looks amazing! Nicely done Geoff and team!
Delish. Very easy to follow.
