Jim not number 1
Why do these ppl post things if they mispronounce and misspell shit ?
Put some respect on Reggie’s name 😤
Best career Wayne Gretzky. Best player at their peak? Nobody could catch Orr and Orr could catch anyone but their is one player it might not matter Mario Lemieux. I can honestly say I have never seen a more dominant player among his peers than Mario Lemieux before his injuries. It's very close but I'll say Lemieux is the best hockey player i have ever seen. Orr is #2.
Robert Newhouse!
Ricky should be number 1
My oh my. You need to look up ref signals. There was NO touchback signal. Waving both arms above the head means "end of quarter" or "no time"/"time expired".
Jaw. Dropped. LUKE KUECHLY?????
The dude speaking clearly knows nothing.. or is talking to anyone watching the video like they know.. nothing..
why you say? thanks for the comments
Wasn't the tallest? He was a 6'4"!
L.C. Greenwood 6'6 Joe Greene 6'5 Jack Lambert 6'4
Herschel is #1 1980 (freshman): 1616 yards and 15 TDs 1981 (Sophomore): 1891 yards and 18 TDs 1982 (junior): 1752 yards and 16 TDs. 1980-1982 UGA was Herschel Walker and nobody else (no disrespect). He should’ve had 2 heismans (minimum). Sanders had 1 legendary season. Griffins stats don’t come compare. Jim Brown never broke 1000 yards.
Sanders was better than Brown. His numbers in only 11 games still never beaten and today some will play 15 games in a season.
Im ok with either one, thanks for the comments
Uh, why did you show Johnathan Wells running for a TD during the Archie Griffin portion?
Jim Brown against a bunch of college kids.....dear God, please have mercy!
Barry Sanders: 6.8 yard per carry. Marcus Durpee: 8.0 yard per carry. Mostly as a Freshman. Greg Pruitt: 9.4 yard per carry his Junior year (Bo Jackson's junior year Bo averaged 5.5 yards per carry).
Stop mispronouncing the name - it is DOR-SETT; not Dorset
My TOP 10 Greatest hockey players of all time: 1. Vyacheslav Fetisov (USSR) 2. Wayne Gretzky (Canada) 3. Vladislav Tretyak (USSR) 4. Valery Kharlamov (USSR) 5. Sergey Makarov (USSR) 6. Börje Salming (Sweden) 7. Alexander Ovechkin (Russia) 8. Vsevolod Bobrov (USSR) 9. Sidney Crosby (Canada) 10. Mario Lemieux (Canada) The first six people from the list were included in the symbolic team of the 20th century. The six members of the symbolic team were chosen by voting organized by the IIHF. The selection committee included 56 hockey experts from 16 countries in Europe and North America. The final six were announced on May 17, 2008 in Quebec at a gala evening dedicated to the centenary of the IIHF. Symbolic team of the century: Goalkeeper: Vladislav Tretiak (USSR) - 30 votes. Defender: Vyacheslav Fetisov (USSR) - 54 votes. Defender: Börje Salming (Sweden) - 17 votes. Wing: Valery Kharlamov (USSR) - 21 votes. Wing: Sergei Makarov (USSR) - 18 votes. Center forward: Wayne Gretzky (Canada) - 38 votes Alexander Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby were included in the symbolic team according to the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) for the period from 2008 to 2017. The team was made in honor of the 110th anniversary of the organization. Also, Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin were included in the first symbolic NHL team of the decade. They were voted on by NHL General Managers, NHL Hockey Operations, NHL . com contributors, and journalists from NBC, Sportsnet, and TVAS. The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) on the official website presented the symbolic Russian team of all time. When compiling the team, the performance of both Russian and Soviet players was taken into account. Vsevolod Bobrov, Vladislav Tretiak, Vyacheslav Fetisov and Valery Kharlamov got into it. The International Ice Hockey Federation also presented the symbolic team of Canada of all time. It included Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux and Sidney Crosby. All of the above hockey players got into the TOP 10 best hockey players of all time. Based on all of the above, Sidney Crosby, Alexander Ovechkin, Vsevolod Bobrov and Mario Lemieux added hockey players from the symbolic team of the century. Ten of these best hockey players turned out by voting. Any vote is subjective. Only statistics are impartial. The following statistics confirm the inclusion of many of the above players in the top ten. The national teams of Canada and the USSR were the strongest in the world in the history of hockey, it was they who won international tournaments much more often than others. Also, the championships of the USSR and the NHL were the strongest in the world. From 1975 to 1991, the clubs of the USSR played 108 matches with the teams of the National Hockey League. During this time, the clubs of the USSR won 58 victories, 10 matches ended in a draw and lost 40 times to the representatives of the NHL. In 1990/91 USSR clubs won 17 times against NHL clubs, lost 8 times and drew 3 times. Meetings of the owner of the Stanley Cup with the champion of the USSR, who became in the season in which the match took place: 12/29/1979 New York Islanders - CSKA - 2:3 12/31/1985 Montreal Canadiens - CSKA - 1:6 01/12/1991 Pittsburgh Penguins - Dynamo (Moscow) - 3:4 The European Ice Hockey Cup was won by the USSR clubs 21 times, the Czechoslovak club won 1 time, the Swedish club won 1 time since the participation of Soviet teams in this competition. Champions of European countries participated in the drawings. In view of the above results, until 1991 the USSR Championship was considered the best. After the collapse of the USSR, Russian clubs won the most number of times in the European Ice Hockey Cup, Hockey Euroleague, European Champions Cup. But Russian clubs have not met so often in matches with NHL clubs. Due to the fact that after the collapse of the USSR, many European hockey players left to play in the NHL, and, for example, the largest number of players at the Olympic Games in 2014 played in the NHL, after 1991 the NHL was counted as the best championship. The ratio of players from different leagues at the Olympic Games in 2014: 1. NHL - 50.67% 2. Сontinental hockey league/All-Russian Hockey League - 17.00% 3 . Switzerland - 7% 4 . Austria - 6% 5. Sweden - 5.33% 6. Germany - 3.33% 7. Norway - 2.67% 8. Slovakia - 2.33% 9. Czech Republic - 2% 10 . Finland - 1.33% 11. France - 1.33% 12 . Kazakhstan - 0.33% 13 . Denmark - 0.33% 14. Italy - 0.33% The ratio of players from different leagues at the Olympic Games in 2014, excluding players who play in the championships of their countries: 1. NHL - 52.58% 2. Сontinental hockey league/All-Russian Hockey League - 21.65% 3 . Sweden - 7.73% 4 . Germany - 5.15% 5. Slovakia - 3.09% 6. Switzerland - 2.58% 7. France - 2.06% 8. Czech Republic - 1.55% 9. Finland - 1.03% 10. Austria - 1.03% 11. Kazakhstan - 0.52% 12. Denmark - 0.52% 13. Italy - 0.52% 14. Norway - 0.00% Some statistics: Number of championships in which the player became the best sniper in the sum of the Olympic Games, World Championships, NHL, Interethnic Hockey League, USSR, CIS and Russia Championships, continental hockey league (Olympic Games/ World Championships / League): 1). Alexander Ovechkin (Russia) - 9 (0/0/9) 2). Bobby Hull (Canada) - 7 (0/0/7) 3). Vsevolod Bobrov (USSR) - 6 (1/1/4) 4). Phil Esposito (Canada) - 6 (0/0/6) 5). Anatoly Firsov (USSR) - 5 (1/3/1) 6). Jerome Iginla (Canada) - 3 (1/0/2) 20). Josef Malechek (Czechoslovakia) - 3 (0/3/0) 21). Vladimir Petrov (USSR) - 3 (0/1/2) 22). Sidney Crosby (Canada) - 3 (0/1/2) 23). Ilya Kovalchuk (Russia) - 3 (0/1/2) 24). Peter Bondra (Slovakia) - 3 (0/1/2) 25). Alexander Yakushev (USSR) - 3 (0/0/3) 26). Helmut Balderis (USSR) - 3 (0/0/3) 27). Mario Lemieux (Canada) - 3 (0/0/3) 28). Brett Hull (USA) - 3 (0/0/3) 29). Bill Cook (Canada) - 3 (0/0/3) 30). Babe Dye (Canada) - 3 (0/0/3) This statistic once again confirms that it was not in vain that I included Ovechkin and Bobrov in the top ten hockey players. Number of tournaments (in total, the USSR Championship, Stanley Cup, World Championship and Olympic Games) in which the player became the top scorer : 1). Sergey Makarov (USSR) - 12 2). Wayne Gretzky (Canada) - 11 3). Vladimir Petrov (USSR) - 8 4). Gordie Howe - 6 (Canada) 5). Mario Lemieux (Canada) - 6 6). Anatoly Firsov (USSR) - 5 7). Jaromir Jagr (Czech Republic) - 5 8). Igor Larionov - 16 The last two lists confirm that Tretyak, Fetisov, Makarov and Gretsky were included in the team of the century for a reason.
thank you for taking the time to break it all down, much appreciated!
@@Bigsportsguy You're welcome
I respect the fact that this person included OJ.Simpson, so many people exclude him because he had allegedly killed his wife.He still one of the greatest running backs of all time
Billy Sims was incredible
John 3:16- For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Please follow God. It is the best decision you can ever make.
I love 1,2,3 the rest of the list I can debate but I absolutely love the top 3 great list this earns a subscribe.
Thank you
Where is Reggie Bush? Adrian Peterson.
Fuhr ok. Belfour ok. Roy top choice. If you are going to talk goalies learn to pronounce Vezina and Parent. Parent ok. Ken Dryden ok. Smith top 10? Sawchuck top choice. Plante. The best. Brodeur top choice. Hasek. Top ten but not top 5 by any means. Too inconsistent. Was on the bench when he got his 2nd cup. Good numbers. Entertaining style. No lasting contribution to goaltending. Also lost too many first rounds to inferior goalies. Best moniker though. The Dominator. I think that's why some people rank him # 1.
thanks for the comments
This is never ever going to be agreed upon any way you do it, but how about we do a top 15 for each era, because they're so many that are going to be left out and it's not fair
I love that idea, thanks for that
Jim Brown Walter Payton Barry Sanders Adrian Peterson Those are the dudes! There are several great ones, but those are the four for me.
thanks for the comments
Call me somebody who thanks all of these are like slicing a hair, but some running backs we will never mention like anymore were fabulous and make me pause and thinking which one of these would I choose. I’m not complaining if I have running back as different as Ricky Waters or Roger Craig. It also makes me think of running backs if they had a different situation how good they would be like Randy McMillan, and Curtis Dickey. Also, is interesting that when you really pull apart the best running backs year after year from the 70s, 80s and even 90s, there’s always a lot of interchanging until you get to players like Emmett Smith who was the top funny back for about four years straight That’s all I looked at some of the old 1950s running from Jim Brown, I had him lower, but Jim Brown is my top NFL player ever
good insight, thanks for the comments
Dorsett over Tomlin
Sayers was amazing Dickerson always seemed to fumble at the worst time Emmitt played behind a great O-line, for sure. However, so did many other backs, but it usually only gets mentioned for Emmitt Sanders was the best I ever saw at making something out of nothing Walter Payton is my pick for #1. He had power, speed, was a fantastic blocker and for his era a good receiver Jim Brown is legendary. You could argue that the competition wasn't as great as it is now. You could point out that his replacement Lenny Moore was All Pro for 3 seasons right after Brown left. However, he WAS the offense. The defense knew he was getting the ball and still couldn't stop him. He also get points for incredible durability
great insight, thanks for the comments
Tatum should be #1, hit a dude so hard he paralyzed him.
Ray Lewis was a real killer off the field.
Greg Lloyd was scarier than half of those guys
Dracula and creeps a.k.a. Jack Lambert stop watching after you did not mention Jack Lambert as Dracula in cleats and this is the scariest what
Jim Brown, O J, Gayle Sears, Eric Dickerson, and Earl Cambell is number 1
Ray lewis was overrated!!!!
If Sayers' career was not cut short it would probably be his records everyone would be chasing. He is my number 1 since he could do it all.
cant go wrong with Bo or Sayers, but I would say Sanders, if he didnt retire early, I dont think any one would catch any of his records!
Gotta have Ronnie Lott on the list.
True, I was saving him for something else, but he should've been on both, thanks, I might have to do a part 2 because there's a few more that could be on here
Where is Ronnie Lott. Anyone willing to amputate a finger to stay in game is crazy and dude hit like a beast. Check out Karl Joseph highlights
Harrison is clearly top 5 ✌️
Reggie White the Minister of Defence
yes, good one, I may need a part 2! thanks for the comments
Ronnie lott
Ronnie Lott
yes, I was saving him for a different video, but I could've had him on both, thanks for the comments
Ben Roethlisberger in a bathroom stall might be the scariest nfl player ever
😅
Deshaun Watson has that beat
Ronnie Lott, Ray Nitscke, Bill Romanowski
Wow!!! This is a great list and good job. I learned something new recently about who is the scariest players to watch
Ridiculous list
who should be on here? thanks for the comments
@@Bigsportsguy nitchke , Romanowski ,Lott
@@Skinnyman4485 definitely Lott! Thanks for that, I was saving Lott for hardest hitting safeties/ DBs I could've had him on both tho
Derrick thomas was not a linebacker!!!!!
I seen him line up in both DE and LB, am I mistaking? thanks for the comments
@@Bigsportsguy he had over 60 tackles just two times.hw was an undersised de who did not play the run.went after the qb on most snaps.a nonfactor against the run most times!!!
@@Bigsportsguy maybe thomas was a lb the tear he had 79 tackles but that's it.a pass rushing lb dont get into a 3 point stance which he always did!!!
@@peterpellechia5985 thank you for pointing that out!
@@Bigsportsguy most of these guys in this age that are called edge rushers are influenced by thomas not taylor because most of them get into a 3 point stance when rushing the passer
1) Barry Sanders 2) Walter Payton 3 ) Eric Dickerson 4) Jim Brown 5) Emitt Smith 6) Billy Sims 7 ) Earl Campbell 8 ) OJ Simpson 9) Terrell Davis 10).Priest Holmes
Just kidding around, but you have the worst French-Canadian player pronunciation of anyone I have ever heard since the late Bill Chadwick! Seriously though, Martin Brodeur & Terry Sawchuk should be 1 and 2 because they each got over 100 shutouts which to me is the Goalie equivalent of scoring 800 goals. Jacque Plante should be third followed by either Glenn Hall or Tony Esposito at number 4 & 5, two great Blackhawk goalies who are not even on your list. Then should come Patrick Roy and so on down your list.
My favorite RBs are #1 Juice, #2 Earl Campbell, #3 Marcus Allen, #4 Roger Craig, #5 CMC.
Roger Craig is the most underrated rb in the history of the game in my opinion!
@@BigsportsguyRoger Craig had the same running style as Duane Thomas of the Cowboys 70-71. That high kicking motion. Fun 2 watch!!!
@@johnj3281 yes, and I say craig is the most underrated rb of all times! thanks for the comments, also, he was the first 1,000 rushing and receiving back if im not mistaken!
Althought I don't agree with number nine it is a overall very solid list with Cups, wins, individual awards and impact on the position/game. That is why Pat Roy should be higher on the list he brought everybody on their knees.
Thank you for the comments
