Barry Sanders: 6.8 yard per carry. Marcus Durpee: 8.0 yard per carry. Mostly as a Freshman. Greg Pruitt: 9.4 yard per carry his Junior year (Bo Jackson's junior year Bo averaged 5.5 yards per carry).
Don''t know that I'd agree with your top ten, for example, there WAS this kid called the JUICE, and this other fella called Thorpe, then there was Sweetness, Hornung, half a dozen others arguably in the top ten all time, you did get t Jim Brown right though, never been anyone like Brown or as he was known by his coach , " The Animal".

BUT, OJ had his moments on the field, some of em almost magical. I, for one, am not willing to forget the moments he gave to those who love football. You, of course, are entitled to do otherwise, at least here n the US, at least for a while longer. OJ regrettably took 2 lives.. Alexander, Xerxes, Darius, Napoleon, Stalin, Hitler, Tojo, and a host of others, took MILLIONS! Should they be 'forgotten' as well?
Herschel is #1 1980 (freshman): 1616 yards and 15 TDs 1981 (Sophomore): 1891 yards and 18 TDs 1982 (junior): 1752 yards and 16 TDs. 1980-1982 UGA was Herschel Walker and nobody else (no disrespect). He should’ve had 2 heismans (minimum). Sanders had 1 legendary season. Griffins stats don’t come compare. Jim Brown never broke 1000 yards.
Put some respect on Reggie’s name 😤
This was tough! There are so many great college running backs! I appreciate the comments

Uh, why did you show Johnathan Wells running for a TD during the Archie Griffin portion?
Jim Brown against a bunch of college kids.....dear God, please have mercy!
Sanders was better than Brown. His numbers in only 11 games still never beaten and today some will play 15 games in a season.
Im ok with either one, thanks for the comments

Tbf Juice deserves to be forgotten, great player but his actions as a human supercede that
