Wow, what a voice Marcelus! I could not stand to be so lauded in front of so many people. It seems at though Frank Sinatra, although I am a big fan of his singing though of a much, much younger generation, loved the praise of men. I want to give Jesus Christ all the praise and glory because he loves me and cares for me and all of humanity. He is a good, good father.

It's the end of 2024. I steadfastly agree with many of these YT comments here. In particular - the indubitable pre-eminence of Richard's voice, his words and the immaculate timing throughout the delivery of his speech. Very very powerful material. Thank you.

Enough people here focusing on Burton’s magnetic voice, as well they should. I was struck by the words themselves. The revelations ons of Frank Sinatra’s humble, silent, by his own choice, magnanimous generosity. Lucky was the person who had him as a friend. I don’t know enough about his personal life to add. But, based on what was revealed on this speech, Frank Sinatra sounds like a true Christian, who, as is commander, looked after others in anonymity, as God commands. May Mr. Sinatra be with Our Lord. He’s up there with the other legendary crooners of his generation. The greatest generation, maybe because of the circumstances of that time, crafted the golden age of America’s music industry. Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, NatKing Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, and so many others. But the greatest will always be Frank Sinatra.

Happy to see the great Keenan Wynn among the guests, he worked with Sinatra in Capra's A Hole On The Head (1959) and was a very versatile actor who could equally do drama and comedy. At that stage of his life he was already suffering from Tinnitus, or 'ringing in the ears', a condition that caused difficulty to concentrate during his movie roles. He died at age 70 in 1986, about three years after this show.
