Great video, I’m an assistant at a GP. You’re a saint for working emergency. I’m sure it’s not possible to film when things get crazy, but I’m glad this day seemed peaceful ❤

Just found you; and you’re legit so pretty. I’ve just decided to go back to college and become a vet, emergency small animals maybe perhaps with marine animals on the side if I’m able to. I know it’ll be years and years of work but I’m tired of just kinda being here yknow? I want to live life and not just go through the motions. lol got heavy but thanks for the video!!! i’m only 11 but i plan on being a vet tech in the future. Not just for the money which alot of people sadly say, but to work with my patients and help them feel better. My mom and my grandma were also vet techs so yea. I also have 9 animals so i have a lot of experience i think i dont know lol. I also do fake vet notes on my animals. I enjoy playing fake vet also lol😂. But yea hope you see this love your videos by the way (been here since day 1😊).

if you've ever been in a veterinary internship before where did you start working to get more experience with animals in general and the field itself. where would you recommend.i'm currently in an internship rn and probably not going to get it😢
Hi, I’ve never had a veterinary intership before, but I did start my experience at a general practice Animal Hospital. To start, I recommend volunteering/working at an animal shelter, animal hospital, doggy daycare, or a local zoo or farm for more exotic animals experience. Hope this helps!! I also hope that you do get the internship that you applied for 😊
What subjects did you take when becoming a vet tech and what kind of math is required and used in this field?
Hi, I did not attend a vet tech program. I completed my bachelor’s degree and majored in biology.

@@maciiskinner7253if you’re interested in becoming a vet technician, you have a couple of options. You can do a vet tech program by applying to schools that offer it. I believe this route typically takes about 2 years and at the end of the program you’d be a licensed veterinary technician. Or you can also become a vet technician through hands on experience. Certain states don’t require you to be a licensed technician in order to practice. So you can apply to any animal hospital, you might start off as a receptionist, kennel assistant or vet assistant before becoming a vet technician. But once you work your way up, they should be able to teach you everything you need to know as a tech. Hope that was helpful 😊
