Wow that looks really cold. I just tried Ryanair for the first time. I thought it was going to be bad but it was OK. I always imagined Lapland as being a remote area, but I see in your video it is quite developed.

Is there a lake side path to walk to ohrid ? We are staying about 12km away ,

And I was in Rovaniemi at the same time! From February 22 to 26. I went to Santa Claus village twice. On February 23 and 25. On February 23, it was still cold and the snow was beautifully piled on the trees. Then it warmed up and the streets of Rovaniemi were mush and water, nothing to do with winter. I also met Santa Claus, also drove a snowmobile, but also a snow go-kart. And indeed it was cloudy and there were no northern lights. But after Rovaniemi, I traveled to Luleå and Kiruna from February 27. Then the weather improved, it was sunny and I managed to see the northern lights for three evenings. On March 1, 2 and 3.
