How it feels to play: Elden Ring
This game is one of my favourite games ever, and I haven't even finished it yet! It's such a power trip, rags to riches experience and this video basically showcases what the first 20 hours of the game will feel like.

The "How it feels to play" series features a selection of games with videos that aim to capture the feeling of playing a specific game. I feel like sometimes explaining a game through words doesn't do it justice. So this series attempts to capture the feeling I feel playing a certain game and package it in a video for others. For those who have played the game, I hope you feel a sense of relatability and nostalgia watching it. For those who haven't, my aim is for you to experience the same feelings I had playing it. And maybe pick up the game yourself :)
About the Game:
Elden Ring is presented through a third-person perspective; players freely roam its interactive open world. The six main areas are traversed using the player character's steed Torrent as the primary mode of travel. Linear, hidden dungeons can be explored to find useful items. Players can use several types of weapons and magic spells, including non-direct engagement enabled by stealth mechanics. Throughout the game's world, checkpoints enable fast travel and allow players to improve their attributes using an in-game currency called Runes. Elden Ring has an online multiplayer mode in which players can join each other for cooperative and player-versus-player combat.
The developers concentrated on environmental scale, roleplaying, and the story; the scale required the construction of several structures inside the open world.
Elden Ring received critical acclaim for its open-world, gameplay systems, and setting, with some criticism for its technical performance. It won multiple Game of the Year awards and sold over 20 million copies in a year. An expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, was announced in February 2023.

When you enter Deepnest from the big drop (where Fungal Wastes and Queen's Gardens meet) Cornifer is already in there, and since he already has a map ready, he must've made it after he entered from the Mantis Village door. That means he either evaded the Mantis Lords (Sneak 100), or he fought them, AND WON
Now I want to see Cornifer fight the mantis lords 3 on 1
his sketch map of fungal wastes is missing all of mantis village, and iirc he explicitly says he wasnt able to go there bc the mantises were fiercely territorial. so as fun as it wouldve been, he probably took a different route to deepnest

Bro when i first started playing i didn't know so much about the map after my first 30 hrs normal seal run i erased my save and started doing a no wayward compass. I'm just a god now i know everything in the map using only my mind but still get my ass beaten by norma radiance💀

I will never forget my first time playing path of pain, I was preparing myself for the fight against pure vessel because I thought you’d encounter him there, SO I DIDNT EQUIP HIVE BLOOD.
