Is Tarantino Overrated?
Quentin Tarantino, known for iconic scenes like the Pulp Fiction dance and violent shootouts from Inglorious Basterds, has cemented his place as a Hollywood legend. Known for his sharp wit, non-linear storytelling, and infamous use of violence, Tarantino's films like 'Pulp Fiction' and 'Django Unchained' are iconic. But after decades in the industry, has he become trapped by his own distinctive style, making his approach to filmmaking predictable?

Why Deadpool WORKS
Переглядів 1,8 тис.4 місяці тому
Superheroes have always all been, kind of the same. There are some that stand out, but for most of them, replace one character and their powers with another, and the story still works. That why the films made by Marvel after Endgame, feel more or less the same. Which has become a curse of Marvel. But when Deadpool first came to the big screen, that wasn't the case. He was a jerk edgy, witty, an...

The Last of Us Isn't About Zombies

The Last of Us is an apocalyptic zombie series that is hardly about the zombies. The apocalypse here teaches us more about breaking down corrupt systems than zombies. Throughout the show we’re forced into a grueling reflection on love and fear and the systems that control it. And here we'll examine this HBO show and its themes in a socio-cultural context. Created by Craig Mazin & Neil Druckmann...

Disney has gone total far left woke and people are tired of that nonsense. We watch movies to escape from political bs, not to be fed more of it.
After end game there is only shit come out of Marvel production.....except our favourite villain LOKI -2 But now he is eternally trapped so😢😢
I stopped watching marvel movies.
What killed marvel?, THE RUSSO BROTHER'S!
i so agree
i hate marvel now but what about loki series
I actually don't think Marvel peaked at Endgame. There was a period between 2020-2021 where it felt like they couldn't miss...Shang Chi, No Way Home, Eternals, the Disney plus shows like Loki and Wandavision, etc. The real turning point for me was Multiverse of Madness, then the final nail in the coffin was Thor Love and Thunder (the floating head to be exact). Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 seemed to redeem it a little, but yeah. It's been dry ever since.
Thanks god
What happened to Marvel is simple. They finished telling the real story - the story that we cared about. We just didn't have the same level of interest in all the follow-on crap. In the end, it wasn't MARVEL we cared about. It was Iron Man and Captain America and so on. When that was done, so were we. That makes all the sense in the world to me, and in fact it's the WAY THE WORLD SHOULD WORK. There is no such thing as an eternal money machine. If that doesn't square with the way corporate America wants it all to work, well, I'm sorry. Except actually I'm not - not even a little.
Anthony Mckey isn't a "star". He isn't good looking, he isn't charismatic. He isn't anything but just there.
I think a director that can make a complex concept simple is a good director. Nolan just decides to confuse you on things that should be simple. And I hate that so many unneeded things are spelled out in his movies such as the theme of the film in interstellar or why the joker is doing what he is doing in the dark knight. I never once felt emotionally invested except for interstellar. His other movies feel very cold by comparison. The films are always good but never great except for interstellar. Sometimes the performances are amazing but other times they are subpar, such as Marion Collitard’s performance in the dark knight rises. Even in interstellar the opening being a documentary is a major flaw in the film as it pulls you out of it, I feel like he is severely overrated and makes good movies in general not great ones. And guys, stop praising his films because most of them are in imax. He just has the budget to afford it and it’s not because he is amazing at cinematography. His films look bland otherwise
Reset..🙄..get ready for different faces..Deadpool saved it..😏..and Wolverine is da link
Very well Said and Done!
M-SHE-U.
Every single MCU thing since Endgame have felt like spinoffs
You didn't discussed their number 1 major problem, the woke, this video failed before it started similar to phase 4 of the mSHEu
If the studios running Marvel Cinematic Universe were smart, then they would play these past few years of trash and M-SHE-U, as the "universe" which had to be done, according to what Dr. Strange stated. "One." There was one outcome that would result in their victory, the sacrifice of quality in our world, and the results of lackluster heroes in theirs. Some believe in theorize, though these are movies, they are connected to our world, and we are merely 5th dimensional beings who have the ability to peer into parallel and/or potential worlds. Add all this up... this had to happen.
They went woke after endgame
Not a film I like really.
even the OG Avengers story line was hard to follow because you had to watch all the movies to get it... the new stuff is just insane there is no beginning middle or end its just a blub of stuff so there is no point lol
In its defence give it time the characters will correlate in time
Marvel has some of the best movies especially Spiderman, Ironman, Thor etc ❤🥺💖🥰
Nooo Marvel has one of the best movies 😢
It's pretty simple. They ran out of ideas, and they got extremely political
Let’s not forget the LGBT initiative
Wokeness killed marvel well at least that’s one problem
WOKENESS killed Marvel. Thank GOD Trump won and that means people are starting realize things were getting outta hand
Without iron man as Robert Downey Jr and captain America as Chris Marvel movies never fill the gap of entertainment
We had one huge orgasm in Endgame, built over 10 years. After that big release, the fan needs some kind of peaceful period of reminiscing what they just experienced. Marvel should have wait for at least 5 years before beginning the next phase.
Has anyone noticed that marvel's decline started the moment the biden/harris administration took over💁🏾♂️
Nolans films have a sense of mystery to it and that's why I love them
Just like with the original Star Wars trilogy nothing that comes after will probably be able to compare to the Infinity MCU years Ive enjoyed most of the content post End Game, yes some of the movies and shows have nissed the mark but there were also plenty of poor movies between Iron Man and Endgame I think we need to hold back until we reach Secret Wars and see how this era looks when its had the same amount of years and content as the Infinity arc got
People really are slow … with all due respect. If you think marvel don’t know what they doing.
Scarlet witch and Dr Strange are best characters left still. They should work with those only..
Marvels died the day iron man died 💔
Woke……. Woke killed it
Oh damn! Amazing channel. Shooting for the stars soon with subs. keep it up.
Money
Fans couldn't wait how filmmakers will defy the logic to kill the Thanos. Endgame was first flop... slip up. First pile of tasteless pile of garbage that came after
0:03 Go Woke Go Broke. 😂
It's wokeness and shitty writers that killed MCU😂
Marvel died when Disney bought it just like Star Wars
It was like that in the 90's when the infinity gauntlet comic book came out, it had a similar ending as the movie but Thanos didn't die, nebula got the infinity stones and brought all the super hero's back. Doom was in the comic also but the next movie is iron man with doom
Literally you should of kept Kang. NOONE was going to have pitchforks for Johnathan Majors.
Imo, its a circle. Always and everywhere. A kinda irrelevant reference, NBA teams top players retire, and they tank for years , until they get enough talent from picks and make a new generation. Main heroes died here , and others will pop up , in time. Venom is one of them, and they magnificently built it up and people freaking loved Venom. They don't follow comics 100% , but : They introduced Symbiotes They started building Knull They introduced multiverse According to Comics 1. Knull is freaking broken. 2. Knull is fighting Avengers + Venom + Fantastic 4 + Xmen. In multiverse, they introduced all of them. They also introduced a universe , where they knew about the other universes. And so on. They actually, have already started building the continuation of the movies-series. Problem is that fans want something, and want it now. Sadly, the next fan-favourite heroes , could take another 10 years to appear 🤷🏻♂️ or less , or more. We fade , the lore continues 🤷🏻♂️ The comics are so freaking VAST. And they already introduced part of the vastness. They introduced Celestials for example. Easy peazy another trilogy dedicated to Knull after 15 years.
Only 1 movie was hit after endgame, Spiderman Noway-home
Now marvel will be back bec of deadpool
Let's. F***ing. Go.
He single handednly destroyd Thor
Here's what happened......Disney went WOKE, Marvel went BROKE. I'm grateful I was able to share the MCU universe with my daughters from Ironman to Endgame. Now, when my older daughters see a Marvel movie, they can't stand them.
