Any re-map or does the bike computer make the right admix adjustments?
No remap.....plug and play
Yes luv it. What diameter pipe is that? Looks about 3 inch.
Yes, close to it
@@gregoryburbage7906 Thanks. Pick mine up tomorrow, and that is my first mod.
Does the bike run lean now - as far as you know?
No. Runs perfect, dealership said was running in spec also . I asked them to check it out on the computer
@@gregoryburbage7906 thanks mate. I’m buying one too in that case. I also have the Corbin seat and loving it
sounds good, now lets get BMW to release tha service manaul !!!!!!!
i need them mirrors.. can you send link please?
They came from j&p cycles, metric catalog.
Greg , I found them on eBay, seems like they were in chrome finish only. Option for the black when making payment ? Tnx
Yes I optioned for black.....it was offered on the site
just bought these in black.. you’re correct they only offer them in brushed steel on ebay.. i contacted seller and requested black.
Hi Greg, that’s what to expect from a monster like that. Is there a link to purchase? Tnx
I do not but google pro race exhaust uk. Youll find it....i actually got them off ebay.
How loud would you say they are? Annoyingly? Sound great on video
They are not obnoxious in the least......deep rumble....actually they are quieter than I thought they would be.. they open up the sound more than the stock pipe.....
@gregory burbage thats great thanks, thought as they are straight through, they would just be mental .
@@darrenstopler3045 it's a classy refined sound.....deep and rich. The boxer motor is so refined and smooth, it's a luxurious loudness that is the complete opposite of a opened up Harley motor with straight pipes.......makes you go to the local pub gathering in the parking lot and ask for the Grey Poupon. Lol
Nice sound Gregory. I'd like to ask you about that Corbin seat though. Thinking about getting it since it looks so nice and the white piping fits the pinstripes on the bike. Did you find it more comfortable than the stock one? Also the missus rides with me mostly, do you reckon it's better for her too? Cheers buddy and thanks for sharing
The seat is far superior in comfort versus the stock seat.....the stock seat was the most uncomfortable seat ive ever had....the pillion will be way more comfortable than the stock....happy wife, happy life....lol
@@gregoryburbage7906 yup, just my thoughts buddy. Thanks for the quick reply, have a good one.
Yep , getting me some, as you might say over the pond ....hi from West Yorkshire, England .
The loop does not need to be round. A square loop will work just the same. Squares are far easier to construct at home.
What’s the price on this exhaust system and do you have any link for it ?
Google pro race motorcycle exhaust, and you should find it. They are in the U.K.
Price was 279 us dollars shipped to america
@@gregoryburbage7906 just ordered one. Appreciate it.
@@gregoryburbage7906 hopefully installation is easy. How long did it take for your order to arrive ? I live in Ohio.
@@rajasekhary3612 i got them in 3 days....really fast for overseas shipping
how big is the loop and what is the frequency range as shiwn?
It did 20m thru 10m. And i think the circumference was 52 in.
Sounds great ! Does the sound change in the different drive modes ?
Does not change anything.....less restrictive, its smooth as silk at 70mph.....and no computer changes to the bike
That sounds awesome.
The stock fishtail with frame mount as well weigh about 25 pounds per side, so by changing out exhaust, i removed close to 40-50 pounds of weight off the bike. A huge huge amount to increase speed and fuel efficiency as well
Can they be fitted facing down instead of to the side? Thanks.
@@anic6559 yes
@@gregoryburbage7906 thanks for getting back to me.
I see that that the tuning is done with the little tuner, but is it possible to get it as close as possible to say under 2:1 match and then use the tuner on the radio or external tuner?
People do it but it's not recomended.....you can get under 1.5 to 1 with the pocket tuner only.
@@gregoryburbage7906 thanks Gregory
Too bad, i'm in a ground floor apartment and i dont think it work in horizontal. Thanks for sharing.
Nice. Though as others have said I'd be concerned with the high voltages in the unit, probably near a KV. How has yours faired? I'm about to try and make a loop out of 10awg wire. Little bit more efficiency than the stock wire (I have the whip, not the wire) but keeps the voltage more reasonable. Thank you for sharing the circumference in a comment!
But is it light?
Yes suprisingly........its tubing so it really is
So what is the loop? How do you tune it with the mini tuner??? 2 minutes about the tripod would be sufficient. I want to know about the. Procedure. Thanks!
Adjust the tune and antenna for lowest swr with 1 watt am carrier......tripod is a camera tripod....from ebay
The metallic circle was home made from you? Diamter misure for what band? The circle is separated on the top?
Its joined at the top....it was one quarter of a quarter wavelenght for 28.400....something like 58 inches circumference
@@gregoryburbage7906 ok perfect! Oh the top i see differet color in the circle so i supposed it was separated.
Great 👍
Aluminum not Stainless steel 😊👍
I'm not sure that steel is a good material to use; its RF resistivity can be much higher than copper.
Most antennas have stainless steel whips especially the tried and true 102" whip. Copper would be the best but stainless has been used in alot of antenna applications. Thanks for your interest, I use the supplied copper wire now for ease of transport. ,73
@@gregoryburbage7906 Hi Gregory, thanks for your reply. I think RF conductivity is much more critical for a small loops such as this; the radiation-resistance, of the loop, is very low, so conductive losses become much more significant. 73, Tim
@@timdbl7804 well wort thinking about...i switched to a solid copper wire just a couple guages thicker than the one supplied for ridgity in the field in breezy conditions....the one in the video i abanded because it wasnt too portable....that copper loop worked really well maby because if greater skin effect but it was onky maby twice as thick as the original at most
@@gregoryburbage7906 That's interesting; I might try that on my wonderloop :-D
How well does it perform on the horizontal?
A bit better than a mfj 1899t........not as good as a wire obviously but better than a telescopic whip type.......and needs no radials
what does 78 delaware mean?
That was my 11 meter quote unquote call sign. Derived from my old cb license KAHS 8178 FROM 1977.
Now my armature call is KC3OBQ
@@gregoryburbage7906 That makes sense.
Hello friend what kind of material is that? and how thick ?? Weight ?? where did you get it from ?? in the hardware store ?? greetings from Switzerland
It's oxygen service grade stainless steel tubing. It's fairly light for what it is. It doesnt put stress on the lugs of the loop tuner. It was scrap from a job at my work. I hand bent it, working it slowly. It's about 1/8th inch diameter. It works well. 73
demonstration would have been nice
great - where can I buy such a wonderful loop for my Whizz Loop V2 ? - It´s not possible 4 me to do it on my own...
Where are you located? I could send one of mine to you.....
very nice antenne dear om
This was really fun.....made 9 contacts in about a hour, real casual not frantically hunting for calls but worked the ne. Eng. Qso party with delaware included so being in delaware i was a popular contact, hi, hi.......73. KC3OBQ.....
Where can I found this antenna and how much. For me 80/10 meters. My mail address : a06102405lexis@yahoo.fr. Thank's for your answer !
The antenna is a moonraker wizz loop 2. It's designed for 40-10 meters. The loop is home made. it comes with a 14ga. Copper loop you form into a loop but I made the more robust loop myself. These wizz loops come from the u.k. Google moonraker wizz loop and I'm sure you'll find it. It's pricy almost 80 dollars u.s. but I'll say they work well for what they are. Great for vacation on balcony that are 2 story's high or more. 73. Good for sitting on the beach too. Lol. Look for UA-cam videos or the antenna sa well. 73, kc3obq, greg
I have a Golden Rod 45 and Had one for 15 years Never a problem talking worldwide. There the best
Have you ever tried this tuner with stranded 14 AWG copper-clad steel? That's what I have lying around. Haven't ordered the 9332 yet but plan to soon.
No i havent but if you go to ham radio concepts channel you can see him using it with the supplied #14 wire thats included.....thanks.
spray paint a plastic hulahoop with a piece of copper wire inside.. it is very light. 223cm is good loop for rx of apt weather satellite. i did not say transmitting of hf.. however does also rx well for 40m prehaps not as effectient as other lengths mentioned.. you could also transmit into a small bulb for gigles. it does work as well..
223cm is the total length of the material used to make the loop. not the diameter of the loop.
other lengths you can try according to this is 165cm as indicated below.. and through other items 137cm or 274cm those might be on par for transmitting depending on your equipment and desired frequencies. 210cm would make something work on 146mhz incase someone was interested in that one..
Ive made enough contacts on that mini loop with the supplied wire to say the antenna works surprisingly well....especially if your up in the air on a second or higher floor of a hotel or sitting on a boardwalk bench right on the ocean as ive done both. 73,
Greetings from Mexico! Wonder Loop antennas are not recommended to increase the thickness of the hoop since the voltage increases ... its capacitor is hardly a polyvaricon, it would not support so much voltage and would shorten its useful life!
Ahhh, I did not know this. I did see that with the supplied copper wire I had a sharper peak in noise level. I use the stock wire or plastic coated wire of the same Guage .....it's been too bulky to pack the tubing loop. Thanks for the info. 73
Do you have a site or have plans for this?
No site . I built it from reasearch on Google and you tube. Lots of info and if you look up loop antenna calculators, it pretty much gives you the specs for what you need.
Would copper tubing work better? I have a Wonderful Loop coming so I'm thinking of adding thicker tubing for my home station and keeping the wire for portable operations
I didn't have copper at the time, but it would of worked as well. 73
Walter did you try the copper loop if so how did you get on.
Excellent video and a great idea very useful.
350? not that nice...
Wow
Looks great and it must be LIGHT... how does it get out?
Very well for what it is..... locally around 10 miles.....dx, several states on 8.5 watts
Nice equipament... 73's PY2ZQ/QRP
The headphone jack, im told by seth is for a key, but can be used for headphones or a speaker....

Why not demonstrate it? Disappointing.
Why? Build it, and use it yourself. I just put it out there for a idea. Its not a demo video.
Let me clarify. It was a really good video about the modification. The natural progression of the video would be to test it on the air. I think most viewers were expecting that. None the less, good modification.
The loop is 101 inches in circumference....the coupling loop is 20 and 1/4 inches in circumference and I think the air variable cap is 70pf, I think, I can't remember exactly. It tunes from 14 mhz thru 60 mhz. It's on a 4 foot piece of thick wall plastic pipe on a adjustable welding stand used to support long stock.
