[Out where settlers are having an illegal outpost.] We were supposed to act as "human shields" for a Palestinian shepherd in case of harassment from settlers or soldiers. After a lot of arguments the soldiers were ordered to arrest the shepherd, who managed to escape into some cave. [Then we bought some Palestinian vegetables and looked at the new Palestinian Susiya.]

Little Green -- Joni Mitchell

This is Joni Mitchell playing her song "Little Green" in 1967, Cafe Au Go-Go, New York. This clip may be under someone's copyright since it was on UA-cam before but deleted. However, it's such an exciting clip and I truly urge the copyright person to, if s/he wants it removed from UA-cam this time as well, make it easily accessible to the public in some other way.
"Both Sides Now" and "The Circle Game" by Joni Mitchell
Переглядів 699 тис.15 років тому
This is Joni Mitchell singing and playing "Both Sides Now" and (at 3:50) "The Circle Game" in 1968 on CBC television show "The Way It Is". I may be breaking copyright (this video was found in the CBC archives), but I thought it was a great shame that this video was not on UA-cam. This is Joni Mitchell in 1967 singing "Song to a Daydreamer," or "Blue on Blue," and staying for an interview on CBC television show "Take 30." I may be breaking copyright (this video was found in the CBC archives), but I thought it was a great shame that this video was not on UA-cam. Love the way she uses her hand as a capo because, of course, she can play dulcimer.
Musical perfection... love it

How is anyone this great?
These are really both quiet, tender versions of these songs. Very nice.
She sings beautiful
Victor, Thank you so much for finding this and sharing it with the world. Joni is so precious!
what a find! thanks for sharing.
LOVE this wonderful vintage performance. 2 of Joni's best songs played from the heart with only her guitar when it all was new for her. Outstanding and beautiful. How the world has changed. ♥
Omg. This is wonderful ❤
These two songs can match any 1-2 punch in the music world, save for something by Lennon-McCartney.

Thank you for putting this up.. In this age of Non Music it is pleasure to hear real artists and not some garbage of childish rhyme with and electornic keyboard. Nice job; and very important. As important at this woman, who by now is a Saint in the Temple of Music. How a child grows; its always the same. What an incredible metaphor...listen to circle game. My god; this women is magic....
Her audience is mesmerized. I was when I heard her preform in 1972. Deb R
delightful
Happy 80th birthday Joni from New Zealand, Aotearoa 🇳🇿
Mesmerizing and hypnotic. She has the power to take you along on the journey with her. Troubadour, Shaman, Seer, Poet, Wizard, Mentor, Psychopomp, etc. Of course, true individuals like this only come along once or twice in a generation and those of us with ears will listen and actually hear and those without, won't.
This was my wife’s favorite song. A wonderful singer sang it at her funeral.
as good as it gets...perfect songs..wow
So beautiful! ❤🙏
Wonderful.------Scott from near Grand Rapids Michigan. July 28, 2023
This made my day.....starting out watching this...one of my very favorites by her.
Magnificent voice
no make up just natural beauty
I grew up with her music along with James Taylor, Carole King, Carly Simon, Bob Dylan, and Donavan and even John Denver, Rod Stewart and Kris Kristofferson. As I grew older I left them behind for bands like Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, the Beatles, the Stones, Lynard Skynard, and of course Led Zeppelin.and all the others in between like Matchbox Twenty, Goo Goo Dolls , Stevie Nicks with her band and so many others. Now that I am a Senior Citizen, I still enjoy their music but for the last 30 years of my life I have fallen in love with Christian Bands like Third Day, Michael W Smith, Casting Crowns and the list keeps growing as do I.
Little Green and The Circle Game are 2 of my favorites from Joni. My favorite artist.
lovely very raw and good thankyou sir
Timeless music . I was in form one when I heard her sing . Years later , I still listen to her . Even in her old age she did ' both sides amazingly .
Una de las mejores cantantes y autoras de todos los tiempos.
I will never miss a a day to hear Joni Mitchell Bith Sides Now . . Thank u Joni for your greatest ontributions in music world
Her music just brings tears to my eyes❤
i can't decide if she's more beautiful or talented. gosh.
She had so much wisdom at young age. 💎💖
2 of the greatest songs in the English language and both by the same person. Genius isn't always perfect. This is.
Thank you for posting this video. Joni is amazing. Wonderful songs.
Wow. She is perfect

GOAT. Joni Mitchell Priceless ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Breathtaking songwriting and vocal talent! I was 15 yrs old during this performance yet it took till today for me to appreciate what I heard. Older, wiser.
How were they/us so wise so young? TheVietnam war? The many choices we suddenly had ? I really don’t know life at all ?
