Why are British Prime Minister’s graves so bad?!
A journey to see the pathetic graves of certain British Prime Ministers. How do they compare to the grand edifices that memorialise US Presidents? From hidden graves to graves that have simply disappeared - why is Britain so bad at remembering its former leaders?

Lead from the Mendips has also been found in Phoenicia/Palestine. Ships coming to Cornwall for tin would have also sailed up the coast, and the River Brue to Bleadney Harbour, for lead. The Mendip mines are within the parish of Priddy. The locals there say, "as sure as the Lord was in Priddy" when they want to swear to the truth of something.
Thanks for sharing?

Well that was interesting. At least you didn't cover the subject in Iceland. Apparently there (Forgottenweapons) they would duel all the time, usually by throwing rocks at each other because they coveted their neighbors barn, horse, or wife. 😅
Extraordinary - thanks for sharing
It is anachronistic to say "he walked in England". I would suggest "he walked in the land that would become England" Or just use the more historically correct "he walked the land of Britain". Either way, i doubt he ever visited these islands.

St Augustine found pockets of Christains all over England when he arrived in the C6th. The religion had arrived in Britain near the end of the Roman occupation. The Anglo Saxons who were arriving at about the same time aaAugustine were not Christians although Queen Bertha the wife of the pagan King AEthelberht the King of Kent - who was Augustine's first contact- certainly was. It was Bertha who got her husband to allow Augustine to stay in Britain. She even got AEthelberht to convert to Christianity although he was never completly convinced of the religion and still tended to practice his paganism.

Its such a shame that people of the stature of Nehru and Gandhi are being villainized in India by the Right Wing while their legacy lives on on the land of their oppressors. I don't usually comment but it really is a nice video. Could you do a video on ambedkar in London? Ambedkar presently is the only figure from indian history who's legacy is untarnishable. People from all political parties try to co-opt him fron the far-right to the far-left!
