The Best 2012 Mech Game is Back! (and how to play it)
Hawken was a fps mech shooter, being mostly online multiplayer focused with a "co op pve" however not being the main focus of the game. It was shutdown back in 2018, with it's servers being taken offline, leaving the game to die on pc. But, after some dedicated fans took on the challenge of meticulously peeling back the game to see how it ticked, were able to reverse engineer and bring back this beloved game of the 2010's.
This is also a mini tutorial to play it for yourself for freee

The last played Xbox 360/PC games
Переглядів 3434 місяці тому
In wake of the shutdown of the Xbox's digital store, I wanted to recall some games I played for a minuscule amount of time. The games I barely spent playing and wonder why I seemingly fell out of them, whether that may have been within or out of my control. Yes, another video yapping about the past and my love for the Xbox, this time with the context of the end of an era:)
The TF2 Offline Experience on Xbox
Переглядів 290 тис.5 місяців тому
Hi, I updated the thumbnail and title for this video because is was causing some confusion. The original thumbnail gave off the impression that you could no longer play TF2 online on the Xbox, which you still can as of July 12 2024, which was my mistake and hopefully with this new thumbnail and title better conveys my message. TF2 made its impact on me way back sometime in the summer of 2010. S...
Early 2000's Interactive TV Games

I wanted to take a look back on a weird time for TV in the early stages of interactive TV. Specifically the gaming side and a part that I hold fond memories of. I discuss the Winky dink show, the Sega channel, and the Dish Network's own PlayinTV channel. As well as explain the significance of these earlier years to me.
The Oldest View's Nostalgic Affect
Переглядів 1569 місяців тому
From watching the oldest view by kane pixels a year ago and recently listening to Wasted summers by juju, I finally went ahead and decided now was the time to go and visit my childhood mall and commemorate it in a video essay. I ask the question of whether or not malls hold any hate for humanity's neglect for them. Everyone is leaving, and what will be left will be just a building.

Virtual Insanity and the man-made man

In my obsession with Jamiroquai's "Virtual Insanity" I came to realize similarities to Harlan Ellison's "I have no mouth, and I must scream". As well as, how we should be concerned at the amount this next generation consumes technology in this rather short video essay/analysis. Exposing a Jojihead to filthyfrank

Revisiting filthyfrank after years got me thinking about how, there are a group of people that don't know Joji's past on the internet, or even his history as a youtuber. So, today I want to help bridge that gap in audiences, and expose a joji fan to filthyfrank.

Why are wide eyes scary?

Wide eyes can be a creepy sight in a horror context. Something about them give off an uneasy vibe, one that will instantly put you in a more alert sense to your surrounding. Body horror in unsuspecting videogames
Переглядів 9 тис.Рік тому
After going on a Wendigoon binge, the topic of body horror came to me. The first thought after was gta 4's statue of liberty and the easter egg inside it, which probably traumatized me when I was a kid. It got me thinking, are there other instances of Body horror in other videogames?

Old Minecraft on Xbox 360: A Custom Maps Retrospective
Переглядів 12 тис.Рік тому
Today we take a look back on the process of downloading custom Minecraft maps of the Xbox 360 era, dig up past feelings of nostalgia, and come to terms with the fleeting memories. Minecraft nostalgia.
If you enable developer commentary. And shoot at a bubble, hold the trigger and look away you get a crazy unlimited ammo hyper fire rate attack with whatever weapon you're using. Soldier was the most fun.
SCP memetics and cognitohazard, anyone?
To be fair you do feel like you’re being watched since the Administrator is watching at all times
This videos legendary because i related so much to it i feel sad and happy because i remember that i as a kid played many games but couldn't experience online. Halo left for dead call of duty Minecraft.. im from the country so everytime i went to the city i was allowed to buy one game it'd take a hour to go back and I'd always look at the cover read the back. Think about how the game would go.. i feel bad because myself as a kid was so different that i kinda feel bad.. eagerness etc but i was poor and had no internet all i had was interests curiosity and my mom which knew nothing about games
2:19 "HIDE COWARDS" ... *But there were none*
ill be playing tf2 till the end of my days
This is a beautiful video.
Did you watch and listen to the developer commentary? Also, do you happen to know why Xbox footage always looks so washed out?
On Xbox 360 no bots in game good luck 1 players game play
I’ll still remember playing Left 4 Dead 2 as a kid with only the bots to keep me company, Connecting another controller just to see how zombies played in versus, and being enamored with the custom maps and weapons mods and special servers which existed on PC. But the game , when I played alone on the Dev commentaries, never seemed scary. Left 4 Dead 1 did though, the game of the year edition . You can pick up survivors as a zombie in that games versus
shitbox, PS3 better
The game looks so good on the box
If anyone is wondering what the song in the intro is called it's 'Hopeful' in the Superliminal Original Soundtrack
Modders have Made many modes like Payload on Dustbowl and CTF on Nova prospekt, Wisp Loadt hosts a weekly 24 hour server. Also adding, Voice lines to use like TF2 on pc, But instead of the R3 or a keyboard, They use the D-Pad, There is 3 diffrenttypes of DPad settings, D-Pad 1, Up: Jeer. Down: Cheer. Left: Sentry Ahead! Right: Spy! D-Pad 2: Up: Help! Down: Go Go Go! Right: Place Dispenser Here. Left: Spy or Sentry Ahead (At the time it was Sentry Ahead). There is no crits and no Damage spread, Making the game fun and enjoyable for everyone. On special Occasions, In dustbowl. There is a Barrel you need to destroy to unlock another D-Pad cmds, Up: ThirdPerson, Down: FirstPerson, Right: Stalker Scream (vc are spammable so it gets pretty loud) Left: Civillain Class. The host does sometimes participate in the match but sits in spectator for the most part, Lobbies can go to 24 players, Spectating is bad for ther most part. It makes games unfair for the losing team. Patiently waiting for the winning team to clear up so they can join up. (To answer questions, Kill Taunts like heavy's FInger gun doesn't kill or Pyro's Flame charge taunt.) Pyro's Class is updated Replacing the fire axe is engineer's Wrench, Helping build and asses the buildings when damaged but doesnt upgrade, The civilians class is somewhat useful on Payload and CP The civilian's Loadout contains a Fire Axe, and a Sapper, The Civilain model is not the big fat danny devito wannabe but instead Scout. And uses has 190 hp. His speed is scout's but can't double jump. I think there is some TF2 Xbox youtubers out there with a somewhat following. But Be on the lookout for Daniel Larson. THis guy ruins the fun for most unmodded servers changing teams without Dying. I think this game is fun alone despite less players it is. Sometimes moments are funny, The commuinity is average, Average meaning it's not any different from the TF2 on Steam. My Conclusion. Everything about this game is nostalgic. Some assets like Scout's Nail gun remains in the files and Spy's Tranq gun from the trailer E3 2006. Shout out to the dedicated Modder's who try their best to make this game memorable to the community. Though some opinions could differ from the fact that you need to play this on a Xbox 360 or a Xbox One Controller. But overall this game is a well created master piece. Holding 5 games in one is pretty damn Holy since all that on Steam would make your storage cry for help. Thanks for taking your time to read my thoughts and opinions on this game. DeadlyXUncle
I have my original orange box copy. Along with most other games of significance. Regarding playstation 1, xbox, 360, and then ps5 Xbox one, I own two games. Dead rising 3 which was terrible. And Ryse. Both of which suck.
I love how everyone has very unique, and one of a kind stories to tell about their first TF2 experience. It's beautiful
even though it's cool that's old dead game is somewhat revived by the community, but im quite sure that this game will die again, if not by shutting down again, then by being permanent 0 because old players with time will go and go out, and new players won't find anything about this game. And the fact that Titanfall still be "alive" doesn't make any favor for this game, sadly. --Tbh i was surprised by seeing that this vid have almost no views in comparison to the quality of montage, good job my man
Unfortunately didn't get to play TF2 on Xbox 360. Seemed like a hell of a time though
It annoys me how this game didnt have bots. Same with the splatoon games.
I remember playing halo 2 by myself with another controller so I had an enemy to kill. I remember playing a bunch of different maps many of them were bright and warm. However Lockout it was the first time I felt alone, cold steel floors, the wind and snow, and the vast emptiness in the mountains. It was like being at the edge of the world.
I bought the orange box specifically to play tf2 lol
This is how the ps3 version of the orange box is
Here, have this sub. I wonder how you still only have 1700 of those. This video blew up, yet nobody cares to subscirbe.
Showing the 360 dvd of halo reach reminds me of the last week of the Xbox 360 servers on halo 3 and reach. An old friend of mine (the one that introduced me to halo in elementary school) spent the last few days doing almost nothing but playing halo 3 and halo reach. Up until they shut down the servers. Of which afterwards I spent about 30 minutes on the main menu of halo 3 listening to the music and reminiscing. It's sad to think, that eventually all of the servers on the Xbox 360 will be gone. As someone who still plays battlefield 3 on xbox, it seems like those days are approaching for the old battlefield games. Everything eventually comes to an end, and all battles (including TF2 I'm Sure) eventually will reach an ceasefire.
The thought of paying to play online is the biggest scam we all fell for, worse is that Xbox started it and everyone soon followed
Ah yes Offline Fortress 2
Guess a lot people’s found out about HL, Portal and TF2 with orange box.
I used to play online multiplayer games alone and I had fun playing and I always assumed thats why I wasn't desterbed by liminal spaces. Also, you didn't need a subscription back in 360
This was beautiful
game 8:43
this man lives on dreams of what could be
unrelated, but i was just playing superliminal before opening this video from my homepage and as soon as i heard the soundtrack in the first few seconds i thought i was tripping balls
Yo yo gamers out there is there split screen on this game for for real though
Operation Racoon City should stay dead 😂 so many bs moments at the train yard
I'm very much reminded of that old TF2 machinima "Ignis Solus" by Lit Fuse Films watching the end of this video.
Emesis blue vibes
Oh, holy shit. I remember this game.
i loved doing the out of the map glitches as a kid 😂
So is everyone on orange box tf2 only have stock loadouts or what?
go play tf on your pc bro…
Don’t comment often, but I came to say this is a beautifully done video.
I played the PS3 version in 2016. The servers were pretty active back then compared to now.
You know what you need to do, dude. Sit your ass down a play TF2 on PC. THAT is where it shines and is insanely active with lame ass cosmetics, hats, community weapons.
Blame microsoft for fu**ing up TF2.
Now there’s just one server everyone plays on and when ones ends someone just makes a new server and everyone joins it
Had to pause on 1:39 just to say bro frrrrrr playing the orange box as kid with no knowledge of the games I am playing was truly the greatest feeling I fell in love with portal and half life those 2 games got me through some shit 😭🙏
Never played Xbox TF2 BUT I have 3k hours on PC. It’s my favorite game.
CHILDHOOD
Being in a lone server and hearing a spy cloak is a whole new feeling, worse part is I was a scout and Ik scout doesn't have a singular sound that can sound similar to a spy cloak
Ur 20 min vid feels like 4 hours history class
