Thank you for coming back. If there’s just one person that your videos have helped… it’s me. So thank you. Looking forward to hearing more about your PA experience. You are an inspiration to my PA journey xxx
Do u remember how much time did you spend to prepare for intevriew?
Hello first of all thank you so much. Sorry about your parents I have a very similar story. how can I message you besides IG?

very well organized and great explanations! thank you for such an informative video
Im so sorry you had to go through a breakup while in PA school, it must've been so hard considering it was an 8 year relationship :( you showed such resilience and strength having to go through all that emotions. I hope you heal and continue to love yourself, and if you guys were meant to be, you'll find your way back together or yet meet another amazing man. Hope you continue to be well and achieve all your dreams.
Hey Samantha! Where is the video comparing PA/MD/DO that you mentioned? I think that video would answer a lot of my questions but I don’t see it on your channel?
Hey, I now I'm super late to the party, but I just wanted to remind you how amazing and super helpful your videos have been! I'm interviewing for Charles Drew University in LA next month and I'm so excited! Totally whatever you wanna do or if you're up for it, but personally I'd really like to hear about your experience there between the faculty and it's location!
Great information and delivery!! Thank you so much!
The first videos I ever saw on PA was yours! Now I’m back a year later to rewatch it and saw this one. I hope you are well and that you come back soon! You’re an inspiration!! 💖💖💖💖🌸🌸🌸🌸
I’ve been an MA, CNA, PCT and recently got EKG certified but I’m so nervous lol. Been in this field since 2006. I’m scared, I’m a bad tester to become a newbie scribe
New Subscribers! Thank you for this video. I have a virtual interview for an on-site scribe position. Would you know if this position will be helpful for those who are in a healthcare IT MBA program?
Excellent information! Thank you very much 🙏🏼
Thanks ❤
I start scribe on the 5th, and also going to PA school.
I just got hired with Scribe America just background with medical coding certification great info thanks
Welcome back, missed your sweet voice ❤
I’m sooo nervous and intimidated 😢 I got hired with a virtual scribe company with zero medica experience except for medical classes at school for the past year . I actually surprisingly passed the training final and they sent my equipment. I’m now doing the epic emr training and it’s sooo intimidating knowing that most of my coworkers have experience in the nursing field 😢 I’m trying hard not to give up , I literally just started
Hey! Which company did you get hired with? I’m looking for a virtual scribe opportunity too.
Thank you Samantha for your advices, This video is so important to me as I am preparing to apply this 2023 at CASPA, thank you.
Wow! Thank you for sharing. Very inspiring and informative. Did your personal statement say pretty much the same thing? I’ve heard that the two should match and oftentimes the committee is looking for the similarities in your answers and the personal statement.. what was your experience?
Just read a previous comment and found the answer. Thanks.
Love this channel so much with all the valuable information you’ve provided, thank you so much for your help Samantha! was wondering if you still reviewed personal statements. I will be applying in April and could use any feedback I could get 😊
Please make a video on your experience volunteering in Mexico as a MA! I am a Mexican-American pre pa student and I would love to hear more about this experience!
Watching ur vids before my interview tmro it’s so helpful if you see this tonight keep me in your thoughts!! Praying I get in 😭
This was very insightful and informative. The description of being a scribe was by far the most useful one I have listened to. Thank you hope everything is going well for you.
Thank you for sharing your experience.
I am attending PA school next year and would love to know about how you successfully went through it and specific tips and tricks that you've incorporated into your life during school! I really want to get the most out of my 2-3 years but still enjoy life!
So inspired by you! Thank you for being you :) happy you're back and wishing you the best yet
Hi Samantha, I'm so glad you're back. I remember telling myself that the day I apply to PA school I will definitely be back to rewatch her videos and here I am. I finally have my first interview coming up in 5 days. I have been watching your videos over and over. I'm nervous and excited.
i have a question regarding the expereinces. I have been trying to look for experience in environments similar to yours. what do you suggest. Anybody.? I am in Florida btw.
Samantha Carolyn is a girl boss and doesn't hide it! I am a pre-PA student in my senior year of undergrad and you instill a lot of confidence in me! I watch your videos at the gym and you make me feel so much better! ❤❤ I am looking forward to more videos!
i'm so excited for what's to come! please make a video about how you tackled financial aid and how you prepared (or not) for PA school finances (did you take out loans, which types, etc.?) thank you xoxo
you have positively contributed to my life! I am so sorry about those mean, hateful and unhappy people that tried to bring you down. F them!! Thank you for what you do!
Hi Samantha! Recent subscriber here but I truly loved your pre-PA tips videos. I love how professional and authentic you are and you’ve inspired me to dig a little deeper and re-write my personal statement to come from a genuine place: at the end of the day, it’s not about work-life balance or salary or pursuing an attractive career in medicine. It’s about the people and how your aspirations and goals to treat people align with the profession. I’m super excited to get started on writing again! I’m in my mid-twenties and pursing PA school a few years out of undergrad. It’s made me self-conscious about my age and where I thought I’d be at this age. But I’m learning to love life, the people in my life, and not let my age prevent me from enjoying this beautiful life. I realize I’m still so young haha, but the negative thoughts and comparing myself to others’ milestones have gotten to me from time to time. I graduated with a BA degree in biology, French, and a public health minor. I spent a year after graduation working abroad in a French high school teaching 15-18 year olds English alongside their main English teachers. And I’m grateful to have traveled so much and lived so much. Now I’m working at a pct in a med/surg unit and an ER tech between a stand-alone ER and an ER that’s part of a hospital. And I came from a lab work background since I had the connections and started working in a lab at 15-16 years old doing specimen ordering and processing and eventually moving into testing and analyzing once I finished my degree and I was figuring out how to get a job in patient care. I’m so grateful for all these diverse experiences in healthcare and it’s made me realize how interconnected healthcare is. My younger sister is a current pharmacy student and we talk a lot about different parts of healthcare. Your videos are so inspiring and you have such a peacefulness and Grace about you! Looking forward to more PA content 😊
Also, thank you because I finally got into PA school thanks to you and your professionalism, your patience, and amazing advice! I think you’re starting the next chapter in life with a bang! As hard as it is, keep your head up!
I’m so proud of you!! Given all that you were going through, you still put others first! Please be proud of yourself!!
Just submitted my PA application, currently working as a float scribe (ophthalmology and pain management) with background in orthopaedics and general surgery. Your content has helped me so much through the application process! Please continue posting!
Hi Leah, thank you so much for your support and for watching my videos. I'm so glad you've found them helpful. Congrats on applying for PA school! That's incredibly exciting. I'll continue posting and hopefully will help shed light on how to navigate PA school. Wishing you the best of luck! :)
Hi Samantha! Your videos helped calm me down while prepping for interviews and I’m so thankful. I am now starting PA school at the end of this month. Looking forward to your videos regarding didactic year!🙏🏻
Hey Jacqueline! Yesss! Congrats on starting PA school soon! That's incredible, and I'm so glad that my videos have helped you up until this point. Looking forward to putting more helpful content out there, hopefully it'll help calm you down during didactic year as well; you've got this! 🥰👏🏼
That's my mentor!! 😄You're the best Sam!
Ayeee, thanks Tyler. Best mentee ever 🥳
Dear Samatha! So happy to hear from you. Congratulations with finishing the clinical year!!! I got accepted to 3 Pa programs by using your advices . Thank you so much. Please share how you survived during the didactic year. Any study tips…. Did you choose your specialty? Did you pass Pance? My best wishes to you!
Hi Yulia, that's amazing! Congrats on the PA school acceptances, I love to see it! Those are all very great questions, I will definitely touch on those topics in upcoming videos ☺. I take the PANCE on January 5th 2023... and I have a LOT of study tips to share, get ready to take notes haha. Hopefully it will help you as you transition to PA school! 📓
I love that you came back! Life is unpredictable and I hope that you continue to do well. Your videos were super helpful in my pre-PA phase and I’m now starting PA school in 2 weeks! I’m a non-traditional student who last was in school in the era of big binders and PowerPoint slide print outs. I really want to do well, so study strategies (particularly if you found any particular technology helpful) would be super interesting to me at this point. I’m also stressing about pharmacology. My sister (who recently finished NP school) has only talked me down half a dozen times in the past couple of weeks. I would love to hear it from you since I feel that you would be honest about the process!
Hey, thanks for introducing yourself. It's nice to meet you! Congrats on starting PA school in a few weeks! Woo, get after it! 🥳👏🏼 Those are great topics, I got you! I have a ton of study tips and strategies for didactic year, and will be sure to add a technology component and extra tips for the "harder" classes like pharm and anatomy. Keep an eye out, and good luck on transitioning in PA school! :)
it’s so good to see you back samantha!! so happy to see you almost at the end of your PA journey~ your channel and insta were such a huge part in my getting into PA school this past year and i’ll forever be grateful for all the advice you gave ✨can’t wait to see what comes next!!
Hi Tracy, I'm so glad that you found my channel and insta helpful. Congrats on getting into PA school, that's amazing!! 🥳 My upcoming videos hopefully will be just as helpful for you as you start this next journey! ♥
your videos have helped me SO much as a pre-PA. I truly believe ur videos helped me get the interview invites and acceptances I received. I'm headed to PA school this winter. thank you for all that you do :)
Hi Gam, thanks amazing!! I'm so glad to see that you found my videos helpful. Nothing makes me happier. Congratulations on getting into PA school! One of the first few videos I'll be uploading in the next few weeks will be all about how to tackle didactic year, so keep an eye out :).
@@SamanthaCarolyn Thank you!! So excited to watch that video! :)
