      Except for the heat during hot season. And air conditioning would be expensive with the leakage and low R factor. Now to be a downer. I've stayed in similar places in Thailand when the weather is more suitable and they are very comforting to live in, for some reason.

    I really like your bathroom setup. I am in the process of building one myself for a Glamping project. Can you tell me what you do with the bags? How you compost them. Do you empty the bags? Or do you just put the whole lot onto a pile or wormery? Can you let me know any problems or tips you've had with this process? Ive really enjoyed your videos and have subscribed, looking forward to more. Steve, Malvern Hills

      Hello Steve, the bags go into a large wheeled bin for a year so I alternate two bins, the bags are compostable. this is important as I have found some do not degrade but others do. I change the bags between each booking so that every customer has a fresh toilet. The urine soak-away needs to be large and flushed with plenty of clean water each changeover! Hundreds of people have used it now so it has been quite successful! Good luck with your project, I wish you every success! Kind regards, Anthony.

It's a change of scenery, a chance to see your relatives, and to recharge with warmth and sunshine. Probably the same is waiting for us. When we get better settled here, we will go to Ufa for the summer and back to the Black Sea for the winter. The winter here is very comfortable. Like autumn or spring. We like it very much, you have a rest from heat and at the same time you don't freeze in -30C. I also feel like you are happy to do your business, because you are a jack of all trades, it suits you very well. Giving people a comfortable and relaxing holiday is a very good thing, people feel happy and this energy of happiness and gratitude returns to you.🤗🤗💞

    Lovely explanation, thank you. The beauty of pine pellets (as opposed to ash) is that it can soak up any fluid that does get in there, and there's always a little of that, without any odor. But then you've got to buy it ($5 for a 100 lb bag) or make your own by plugging and/or grinding pine.

    • @vikinghamer
      @vikinghamer 9 місяців тому

    Hi Anthony, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this build. I also use wirewool/vinegar solution on my projects. And I hope you'll make many more. But please read the "safety data sheet" on the boiled linseed oils manufacturerer's website. Linseed oil is foodsafe. Boiled linseed oil isn't. It contains chemicals to accelerate the drying. Also consider using more health-friendly glue. Unless, ofcourse, the plates are purely decorative. I don't mean to be intrusive, just a word from one woodworker to another.
