Great video tried Spey casting yesterday for the first time after watching this video about ten times I started to get the hang of it with in an hour just need to fine tune it now but on the right the track.
Do you lock the line with bottom Or top hand ?

The SX was a great rod, the ZX is even better. I have both in a 9’ 8wt for salmon, and they are incredible
Atlantic Salmon are my favorite fish to chase by a long shot. Grew up on the Miramichi River, caught my first Atlantic on fly at 9 or 10, and haven’t stopped for over 30 years I reeled in a 32” spring kelt four days ago. Probably one of the biggest spring salmon Ive ever caught. It was also on a Loop ZX 9’ 8wt.
