Someone once left a reply on my comment saying something like "Therians are a waste of space, who embarrasses themselves like this" and like I'm not embarrassed! Not even if I'm getting recorded or people say mean things to me! Unlike antis, I'm happy to be unique. I'm happy to be one with nature. There's nothing wrong with being yourself (unless you're an actual piece of crusty gum on the bottom of my boots). At this point I'm starting to think some of these antis have internalized hate, so they hate themselves for being "outside of the norm", and therefore believe they should put that hate on others.

I’m a elfkin!! I just recently was discovering this community of otherkin and I’m so glad I did! I’d been getting these feelings of magic and I convinced my mom to buy me elf ears and I told her it was for cosplay, but whenever I put them on I felt good and whole. I’m sooooo glad I found out and have come to terms with what and who I am!!

I was watching this video to learn more about the community so I don't offend or say something mean or hurtful. But when it got to the definition of Otherkin something clicked. And now I feel that I understand myself more.
What’s the difference between therian and other kin? Im a therian and have been learning about other alterhuman identities for fun!
Otherkin is an umbrella term for alterhuman identities, including therians. Therians identify with 'real' creatures like foxes, dogs, cats etc., and otherkins identify with basically any non-human creature, like elves, unicorns, aliens etc. So basically all therians are otherkin, but not all otherkins are therians!
Therians are typically used to refer to a real or alive animal (such as a wolf, dog, bird, shark, etc..) Otherkin are normally not real animals or extinct ones (Since dinokins that I have seen are refer to themselves as otherkin). Examples of other kin can be vampires, werewolves, angels, dolls, basically anything that isn’t real. You can be both therian and otherkin at the same time! You also don’t have to refer to a otherkin as an otherkin, but as a therian since the terms are quite similar. Hope I helped inform on what the difference between a therian and otherkin is, if you have any questions I’ll do my best to answer them <3

Little rant here if you don’t like divinekin or deitykin just scroll I honestly just recently figured out in deitykin. And I already hate it. I’ve always there’s something about me that’s… not supposed to be here. And now most of the alterhuman community hates me, I might keep it to myself other than this comment. I wish I wasn’t a deitykin.

I’m not sure but I’ve done research (and twenty five millions tests) to say I am most likely Otherkin+ Angelkin. While I am unable to shift and discover things about my kintype if I am one, I’ll try my hardest to find out more. Not being able to shift is hard😅
Hi! I'm glad you've done your research :) that being said, I advise staying away from online tests as they are very unreliable. As well, don't worry about not being able to shift! It isn't the only way to find out more about your kintype.
