    I think he mixed up the RO membrane with the deionizer While he points to the RO Housing and then the RO membrane, I’m not sure if he has a deionizer. A deionizer usually has a mix of both positive(+) and negative(-) resin, that’s to be replaced frequently, if it’s not in a larger vessel than the usual RO Housings. RO Housings usually start off the standard of 1812/2012 which house RO membranes of 1.8” W x 12” H and 2.0” W x 12” H. The inlets being 1/8” NPT to 1/4” OD, so all are paired with 1/8” NPT to 1/4” OD. Different than the Housing Inlets and outlets of a 3012 Housing. 1812/2012 RO Housings are paired with membranes ranging in pressure from a minimum of 40-80 PSI with most having that optimal 60 PSI. 1812/2012 also range from 24 GPD(Gallons Per Day) to 150 GPD, depending on the make, etc. There’s also 3012 but that usually requires more pressure; 80-100 PSI, and sometimes 3/8” OD NSF certified Tubing compared to the 1812/2012 which are typically paired with fittings of 1/4” OD, Push to Connect. While a 3012 can come with 1/4” OD Elbow Fitting, and the Inlet is 1/4”, most seen to come with a 1/4”NPT to 3/8” OD Elbow Fitting for the inlet. The 1/4” NPT end being towards the inlet of course, and the 3/8” towards the OD, which doesn’t really make much sense, as the flow might be greater but that would decrease the PSI, unless you’d want a greater flow while lowering the PSI to get the PSI higher at the end, as it seems this apartment might have a pressure regulator, as there seems to be no way to increase the pressure beyond what’s being measured coming out. If not then it makes it a bit weird. Does it seem to cheaper? Cause if that’s paired with an Auto Shut off switch, the auto shut off switch either comes with 1/4” Inlets/Outlet Or with 3/8” Inlets/Outlet. There doesn’t seem to be an auto shut off switch where some inlets are 3/8” and some outlet are 1/4” Either way most seem to be outsourced, the systems that includes the membranes to. It’s an interesting topic for sure. As there’s many things to learn with RO, which goes into Water Treatment. As with RO membranes they last either 6 months or 2 years, depending on water quality or the Pre-treatment one does before it reaches the RO Membrane. An example being UV With dual lamps of 185/254 nm wavelengths at a minimum of 11-12 Watts to be effective in its performance against bacteria and organics, this paired with Ultrafiltration of 0.1-0.01 micrometers or microns is an effective pretreatment to the water before it gets to the RO Membrane. After there’s always carbon and maybe re-mineralizing your RO Water etc.

    Just a note for some installers : helpful to use nut drivers to tighten many of those screws instead of screwdrivers, especially with the blind spots and lack of space/visibility. There will be an option for many of the clamp screws (especially) that come with most disposals.

    Your not doing the concrete correctly. It'll be brittle and weak if not mixed. The concrete around the outside will harden a bit, but the center will not get enough water even if you let it soak for days since not enough water mixes into it. This is only slightly better than just using plain soil.

    Nice job on the video on how to change out the lawn mower blades. I just bought the mower and will be changing to the bagging blade. I read the operators manual and will be adding Torquing step to all three nuts/bolts to the recommended factory specs. Center bolt torque setting is 36-43 ft-lb (50-60 N.m.) and two side bolts require torque setting of 22 ft-lb (30N.m.). Maybe you can edit video and add Note across last part of video with torque specs.

      @kevscastle7466 You can just add some text to the end of your original video. I bought the torque tool and it never made the click sound but it wouldn't let me tighten anymore. Getting nuts off took a long time for me. I did resort to WD-40 but still took perseverance and determination to finally free it.

    • @kevscastle7466
      @kevscastle7466 2 місяці тому

      I have a metal post. If I live in a place with a lot of frost I would have added a 4x4 to go deeper. And as you said I would have put gravel below the wood post so it doesn't come in contact with the soil.

      It is hollow, but there is a metal plate covering the top for the bolts. The inside will slide over a 4x4, so if your pole is smaller than a 4x4 this should fit.

    Never have used a Blendtec, but my Vitamix does EVERYTHING I have ever wanted a blender to do. And I would rather have SWITCHES than BUTTONS. VITAMIX BLENDER jars are made of a material similar to airplane windshields, from what I read.

    • @awakeandalive4248
      @awakeandalive4248 2 роки тому

      I bought the blendtec about 5 years ago and recently bought the vitamix because I wanted to upgrade, but after 3 weeks of using the vitamix I realized that is not for me, I guess it comes down to #1 what you're going to use it for and #2 what you expect out of it, so because basically I just use it for fruit and leafy greens with collagen powder, flax seeds and honey and sometimes for hummus and the blendtec was easier to use, easier to clean and easier to store, very few cons in comparison to the vitamix, the jar on the blendtec makes it very easy to scrape up with a silicone spatula all the hummus that gets stuck to the bottom of the blade the vitamix not easy at all and the plunger is not even necessary if you know how to use the preprogrammed buttons on the blendtec, but vitamix is well made and what matters that the buyer is happy with their purchase, vitamix end up going back to Costco and I'm very happy with my blendtec.

      @@awakeandalive4248 You definitely did your homework by researching the features of the Blendtec, Vitamix, and other manufacturers, if any. At the end of the day, it matters most what serves your purposes best. I met a Blendtec longtime user who makes and sells homemade salsa. They are used to the control layout, methods of operation, and blend times used to get the level of smoothness in their salsa consistent batch after batch. I use a long narrow rubber spatula that is bent and pointed at the end to get out any remaining peanut butter, mayonnaise, thick sauce, or other thick substances at the bottom of the blender jar, regardless what brand of blender I use. Breeville, Blentec, Vitamix, Hamilton Beach, and others, I still use the long narrow pointed end rubber spatula to remove remaining blended content after the blending has stopped, of course.

      @@kevscastle7466 My initial blender was a Hamilton Beach. It was terrible and could hardly blend anyting. I returned it and bought the BlendTec. Although it was much better than the Hamilton Beach, it didn't blend certain things like ice cream very well. It took too much effort to use in my opinion. So I returned it and bought a Breville Super Q. This blender blends so much better the the BlendTec and is much easier to use and clean. Build quality is light years better too. The BlendTec blender, plus the tamper and the commercial lid only cost $60 less than the Breville. And the Breville came with everything that the BlendTec did, plus it had it's own tamper and spatula. It didn't need a big opening lid since it already came with one. I've been blending lots of different things and it does it very well with litter effort. I'm very pleased with the Breville and will not be returning this one. Albeit, the BlendTec is okay, but I didn't like it after some use.

    Because you’re using a different model on the vitamix but there is some vitamix that do have the button for what you’re doing. I have one of them.
