Thank you 🙏
I have just passed the CC exam. Your video helped me a lot. I have collected the most important questions from my preparation and created a video series on the CC exam with important questions here: ua-cam.com/video/agDKNpyzyYg/v-deo.html
Comptia exams are cool to study for, but are grossly overpriced with a lot of the material being old and outdated. I would just study the material, skip the exam, and move on to an actual vendor cert which actually holds more value.
🎉🎉🎉
I will be writing mine on the 9th of December 2024, I really need loads of materials
Best of luck my friend 💯💯💯
thank you bro !
@@IkhelasMeserar thanks for watching! I’m glad this is helpful 😁😁😁
Let me answer as someone with 11 years of experience. No! I had it at my entry level and even then it did nothing for me
Andrew Ramdayal who has the highest rating in Udemy says in his Cybersecurity program that a lot of people don't know what the hell they are protecting because they don't have the A+ fundamentals and don't even know the basics of how a switch or router work. How can you protect what you don't know? He said start from the bottom up so you can get the education then do Network+ then Security+ then choose to specialize. It's designed like that for a reason.
@JohnWick-df7wc while I think this is the traditional and right approach, the more flexibile way is to learn content on A+ but not do the A+ cert. Solidifying that A+ knowledge early on, without taking the cert saves time and money
for a young person like me im 18 i wanna do the comptia exam, I have a decent amount of knowledge on IT but i am still a beginner should i still do the exam?
for me i am just to get something on my resume as a start
Alright I have to put this here so it's fresh for people that still want to write the exam anything from November 2024….. it took me 1 week to prepare for the exam and mind you I am not new in cyber security.... Everything in this video is 💯 correct, use those 2 study materials that exactly what I used, but if u want to take it up just for more assurance sake add @infosec guardian cc videos and certified terminal practice question videos. All materials I used where from UA-cam and isc2 I didn't pay for anything. I suggest 2 weeks minimum of studying if you are new in tech or cyber security... Please I am not new I am well grounded and certified in cyber security that's why I could achieve the course in a week.... 2 weeks minimum is best for studying. OSI models Malware Bcp Canon Access controls Policies, standards, procedure and guidelines must be mastered before you think of entering that exam hall. Good luck!
thanks a lot
Of course 😁
Hey Caleb. I'm from the Uk and work in helpdesk 2 years. I've got the Az-900, Sc900 and MS900 in the last few months. I've been studying the Network+ but don't see much value of this cert here in UK when i look for jobs. It's also very expensive and no discount from employer, whereas i can get 50% off Ms certs from employer. Was thinking of going to security plus ( just to get one) instead or carry on with MS or Azure certs. Thanks I really enjoy the content btw
Amazing, what is your goal in terms of role, are you aiming to getting into cloud? Thanks so much I’m so glad you enjoy the content 😁🤩
@@caleboni.certified hey yes the goal is to be a cloud administrator. But i understand i probably need some middle level experience for a couple of years
@@metalmayhem007 sounds like you’re in a good place, with some years help desk experience. Once you get AZ104 you should be applying 💯💯
@@caleboni.certified thanks for the response! Will make that my goal for 2025
I skipped A+ and am doing Network+, ita more specialized and has emphasis on Cloud Computing.
Sounds great bro 😎🔥how is Net+ cert prep going?
@caleboni.certified so far it's going great, bro - the Net+ cert is introducing me to more knowledge in IT, and it's really interesting.
I think the Cisco csst networking and it support certifications are better alternatives for the A+ then the google IT support cert
@@gacaliyaha_darwiish a good suggestion only thing I’d say is Cisco is vendor specific and Comptia mentions and covers tech without bias!
I have gone through the course for the A but have been told don’t do the exam and take network plus after doing that course.
I think that’s a good idea tbh! How did you find the courses? As long as you got a lot out of the courses that’s probably more than enough to then move onto other certs!
@ I found the course online and brought it but I didn’t realise there were resources like professor messer so I kind of learnt my lesson. I was considering a change in career and I was starting from zero so the A plus has really helped me find out about different parts of the IT world and start building the basics up.
@@rw2783 good point professor Messer has pretty much everything you need on Comptia A+ right here on UA-cam! When I was doing the core 1 I used the Udemy course by Mike it was quite cheap had a 50% discount and had so many great reviews! I learnt a lot really set me up for my career!!
Hey Caleb, had you heard of CompTIA before getting into industry? I hadn't heard of it until like 1 year ago... 😆
Ohhh really, yeah Comptia A+ was the first certification I ever came across, long before I entered the tech space the course I took for it was really good 💯 but I didn’t do both the exams I just did one of them then moved onto other things!
Brother currently I am in dubai how may i go in UK as a azure administrator?
I will be sitting for this exam next month, I was thinking it was going to be alot easier after scoring over 80% in the training and thinking of writing the exam next week, but after this, I'm more than convinced that I'm not ready When I take the exam next month, I will be more than happy to come share the testimony
Amazing let us know how it goes 🤩💯
Needed this 😅
Do you offer mentorship for cloud
I'm preparing for mine, how much time did you need prep
Great I’d say 8-12 hours depending on your background 👌🏾
Can I just begin cybersecurity with my phone, since I can't afford laptop for now sir?
Completed AZ-204 certification 6 months ago.
Thank you for this podcast
Thanks for watching 🤩 season 2 on the way 😁😁😁
Amazing content! As a finance bro, it is great to watch your content to see what has been going on in the tech market. Would love to see you do some tech news update or the new technologies that are having great/bad impacts. Love the content!
Thanks so much bro 😎 💪🏾

Hello brother. I am in project management in the energy sector. Im planning to make a shift to cybersec within the energy management space. Any tips?
Good to know about the pros and cons of working in tech. I can relate to this 😅
Haha which point do you relate to the most?
What about costing?
Thanks for shedding light on the difficult parts & it’s makes people think about what they are getting into.
It’s so true! Many pros and cons it’s helpful for people to know what they’re getting into! 💯🤩 thanks for commenting my friend 😁
You are doing a great work by exposing a lot of hidden gemz that people in Tech are not talking about, I would like to join a team or group for motivation and ideas, I wish you can help me to achieve that. Presently, on a foundation level in devops and aws cloud.
This is so true! we are talking about launching a group/ community for this channel is that something you’d be interested in joining? 🤔
0:42 #1 1:46 #2 2:39 #3 4:08 #4 5:39 #5 With D&I something I've found too is an additional layer of socioeconomic background you never hear about. A tonne of tech is 'middle class' which can leave people feeling left out. I know I often felt this at uni and then at work. Oh and with the salary stuff, it's nuts. Every US influencer boasts there multi-6-figure salary. Meanwhile, in the UK it's reserved for Principals and Division Leads... One of those things where everyone talks about how easy it is to get 6-figures, yet I hardly know any lol.
Thanks for your insight as always Luke 💯🤩🙏🏾 and thanks for the timestamps! 🔥
What realities did I miss out? 🤔
Applying for an IT job knowing these points may get me the role so glad I found your vid thanks bro!
Best of luck my friend!
fr, makes imposter syndrome sooo bad
It’s soooo true 😅😅😅
This is very good. I learned a lot.
So glad this was helpful
This is one thing i tell people who claim they're interested in getting into tech. They're usually all smiles but their facial expression changes whenever they hear this part 😂
Looool 😂🤣😂😂
Passed Azure Fundamentals but I was unsure on what to do next. Great video u earned a new sub 🔥
Amazing 🤩 so great to have you 😁😁😁
Are you habesha
No offense, but a person who graduated from a 4 year university is not entry level.
They would have 0 practical working experience unless they completed an internship or placement.
@Xarishher they do projects and assignments that a person with no IT education wouldn't have.
Congratulations I pray my UA-cam channel blow up
Thankyou my friend! 🤩 best of luck with your journey on UA-cam 💯🔥🔥💯🔥💯🔥💯🔥🔥🔥🤩🤩🤩🤩
