He's funny when he closes his eyes, even if I blow on him or tickle him, he makes it funny when he closes them, but ours don't know how to do that.😄
Shaking like a shitting dog!
So beautiful. That double decker 😊
Damn, the noise is terrible
Oh love listening to these memories, Blackpool has a very special place in my heart, from my yearly childhood holidays to regular visits today! The tram memories from Lytham road are very special, we stayed on Lytham road in old scruffy but very loved flats when it was an absolute hive of activity, thankyou!
@minamoo3035 Glad you liked it!
Very cool scenes...too bad you didn't use a gimbal or tripod.
Where is this? England? Australia?
Blackpool Tramtown is in Blackpool, England
Hi there. Are there any updates on the restoration of Rigby Road Depot?
My god that shed is very dilapidated
It’s hard to believe that this thing was once a balloon car .
Brilliant video 🎉. Many thanks from Chris and Jane 🎉
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it!
someones been busy on the destination blind 😅😅
Love this, would love to ride this beautiful tram !
Is this one going to be preserved?
Nice to see my ‘old’ friend John Woodman on here reminiscing about our journey on Standard 48 on the last night of the Marton Tram Service,28th October 1962. Whilst he had disappeared to the rear,I had the chance to become the last driver to travel around Spen Corner, unofficially by kind permission of Jock McNaughton. I still have my friend Sylvia who is now the last conductress living who worked the ‘copper canyon’,Marton trams. Paul Galley, did you receive the batch of Marton photographs and 1962 DVD I sent you ?.
I really enjoyed that. I could listen to stories like this all day long. Andy, Paul thank you so much
Thanks Ben for your kind words. We are really pleased you enjoyed it.
Is this Blackpool?
Hello pelpikx, yes it is in Blackpool. It's just as you leave Rigby Road Tram Depot. :)
@@blackpooltramtown4951 Thanks, it looks like a very old and cool tram
Love being there that day getting to record a video

606 open boat tram went to states the same year as 147 came back to Blackpool
i love all the blackpool trams even the flexitys thats saved everything. thank you for this lovely series of chats.
Frank is brilliant, ex illuminations a lovely bloke and ex fitter there.
Thank you Paul and Robert. That was a lovely Tram Chat so interesting. Its wonderful to see someone like Robert speaking with a smile on his face recalling his stories from the past. Hope there is many more to come
thanks @bennoselton4755, yes we are going to do lots more. I really enjoy doing them. It's about capturing these first hand memories for the benefit of future generations so everyone wins :)
Many thanks Paul for another chat, this time with Robert and his memories of Blackpool trams from years gone by. He was certainly very clear minded when recalling his time as a conductor on the Trams and traveling to and from his home in Fleetwood. Thoroughly interesting interview - I hope that these videos will be amalgamated into the future TramTown exhibition area for visitors to see and hear. By the way, the interior if the Coronation tram looked resplendent, in particular the amazing upholstery. Can't wait to see a Coronation tramcar in its rightful place on Blackpool promenade carrying passengers again. Thank you both, Ken
aw thanks Kenneth. That's a great idea. I'm trying to get as many covered as I can as so many people have wonderful stories and I don't want to lose them to the passage of time.
What fantastic work you guys are doing - see you soon...😃

HOPEFULLY I WILL BE VISITING TRAMTOWN IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
Well done Bob! It looks amazing! I should imagine this board in its day was a vital tool in the tram shed, constantly being referred to and updated during the day and night that the trams run! Would it be possible to do a video on the Engineer tram 754 please? I have heard its the only tram that can be powered by overhead or by its own engine? Would love a video tour of the inside if possible please. Thank you for keeping my childhood alive! Are the colour numbers to help identify the different trams? Green for the standard livery and white for painted / illumination trams?
What were Blackpool thinking of when they came up with that POS livery, somebody would have been paid thousands to come up with that crap
I'm coming down on payday next week and buying one of those!
I was part expecting to see some funny picture of something rude hehe
The silly side of me was expecting old school pictures of samantha fox and Linda lysardi hehe
Carn't go wrong with a Russell Hobbs kettle tho
Wicked,can't wait to get 1

Nice comments from Frank about Marton.
Hi When are you guys going to do the driving a tram experience again ???
I believe there is a section on the website for it unless you mean they have no dates available.
I'm getting a tram driving lesson in Heaton park next month, cant wait!
