What cuties!!!😍
Thanks very much! Happy New Year!
Are you still selling praying mantises?
That is a small snake. Why are you taking venom out of snake
Is that a picture of a young Bill Haast on your wall? I met him the first time in the early '80's at his Serpentarium in Miami and then again maybe 20 yrs later at his place in Punta Gorda. Incredible guy.
😍✌
Thank you! Happy New Year!
So cute! I'm in love with the way mom encourages him and takes the time to learn his interests❤❤❤
@9:56, Dingo just passed away from that.😢
Yes, we were all absolutely heartbroken about that. We don't know how he got bit - we didn't look into all that information, but we do know he had a deadly allergic reaction to the antivenom itself. At MToxins, they put their lives on the line every day to save lives by extracting that venom - no just as antivenom / antivenin but also for diabetes, blood pressure medications. A lot of their venom is made into antivenom for 3rd world countries where there is a much higher frequency of workers in the fields and villages getting bitten by venomous snakes. Mtoxins venom extractors and other labs that do this are true heros - you're looking death in the face and working with it all day every day to save lives - just one purpose - to save lives. Thank you for your very kind comments on the other video as well.
@@LukeBugAdventures Thank you for replying. I totally agree, it’s a very dangerous career. No matter how many precautions are in place, it only takes 1 mistake which can end up career ending and fatal. May Dingo RIP and facilities as the one above in the video keep producing and educating at the same time.
Very educational. Thanks.
Come to Australia and handle some of our friendly snakes
??? Carotid ARTERY??? Don't think so!
1:33 if there is no antivenom for thwt snake. Why milking it then?
Awesome, Luke!
Why not where the snake gloves?
Never stop this passion, most kids just play video games and sports, it’s amazing that you have such a unique interest, keep it up, you are very lucky!
Very smart young man.
Hey I was wondering where I can access your shop to buy these insects/animals.
Thanks for asking! I usually sell only at expos because - especially for insects - it's really expensive on the buyer to pay for shipping. That costs so much more than the actual insect.
Your mom is the best and i look forward to watching you grow with entomology.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you! Happy New Year!
Another video where the music drowns out the speaker.
Thank you for your feedback. I was 10 when I edited that video with my mom. I've got a lot to learn!
I had a fleur de lans jump at my truck in Belize it was stuck in the radiator grill .
🙏🙏🙏🙏
Stiletto snakes aren’t rare. One of the most common venomous snakes in South Africa. And responsible for a high amount of bites. Also stiletto snakes aren’t deadly. They can make you loose a finger or leave a big hole in your arm. But won’t do much more. I been talking to a few people that got bit. And even though it hurts. It won’t kill you. And not needing anti venom for a fee de lance and being home the same night after being bitten by a black mamba. Those stories seem made up tbh. Black mamba venom even with anti venom takes a few days to get out of your system. In that time the venom remains active.
I've been stung by bark scorpions three times. Its like a wasp sting for an adult. We taken tylenol and benadryl and put ice on it. Its over in 6-12 hours...
I live in the arizona desert by the way 🙂
Nice! After how many days exactly?
Sorry for the late reply- I missed your comment- close to 90 days. 80-90 days depending on heat fluctuations.
Müssen die tiere ihr ganzes leben in solchen plastik Schubladen verbringen ? Alls dank das sie ihr gift geben um leben zuretten so sollte man keine Tiere halten da fehlt Einfühlungsvermögen. Wer möchte so leben
Love that guy ,what an unbelievable snake collection Jack has…legend
SO cool that you are so supportive of your son doing this. How awesome. Any kid would be lucky to have parents like you. Great job all around. Love seeing things like this in a world of mostly bad news
Now I understand why Dingo has an allergic reaction to feces of venomous snakes. I didn't know that they secreted venom in their feces. It makes sense considering that it becomes part of the digestive process.
When you're old enough I would love to see you do a video on forensic entomology (when a dead body is found scientists look at the different bugs (magots, blow flys) that were found on the body to determine how long the body was sitting there) IDK I'm a criminal justice major so this probably isn't interesting to anybody but me, feel free to ignore my comment lol
You're so lucky to have a mom that nurtures this love of yours my parents would never
I am really lucky! My mom loves snakes but was not allowed to keep any either. So she's living her dream and I'm living mine! My dad is very supportive and loves our rescued leopard gecko.
you really need to cancle the music so we can hear people talk
Very amusing lol. Great video, as usual.
Hey Luke! Thanks for the great comment, and for the other positive comments! I so appreciate it and for you watching my videos! This one was a lot of fun to make! We Luke (skywalkers) have to stick together! lol
Great video. I've seen videos from there before and yours had new info for me :)
Thanks Luke! It was great visiting the venom lab. I had never seen / heard to many venomous snakes in my life - there are about 600 there! Nate is really brave for all the ways he saves lives. Thank you so much for watching and leaving such a great comment as always. Sadly the venom lab visitor center closed a couple of months ago because of funding issues. The venom extraction still goes on but it's not open to the public any more.
Ilove your channel luke can't wait for meet you in real life 🎉😅🎉🎉🎉
Hello! Thank you so much for leaving such a kind comment! I got to a lot of expos - sometimes to vend and of course to shop and buy cool reptiles and gear. I hope you can stop by some time!
Great video, kid. Your parents rock. Love your channel. Keep the vids comin'
That’s crazy it’s interesting to me that the longer people handle them the more likely to have a allergic reaction to them then u have the group of people who have been injected for years and end up becoming immune to them crazy creatures for sure
Ohhh, I'm jealous. That is one of my favorite species! They are one of the coolest looking geckos for sure. The eyes and the pattern and the contrast between them, are incredible. Good luck w yours. Glad I found your channel. Keep up the great work.
Thanks very much for watching and leaving such a cool comment! I'm very excited to raise these very special geckos and their babies! I'll be posting about how the babies are doing, and my other strophurus species!
I'm in love with this species! Because your channel is rated for kids, UA-cam has dismantled notifications so I just saw this now! Congratulations!
Hi! It's always so great to know you're watching my videos! My mom usually have the videos set to 'non-kids' so I'll have to see what happened this time! Thank you for letting me know! I should also post to IG because you follow me there and maybe that gets the info on the videos out faster. I know YT sometimes takes up to 2 days to send notifications. I'm so happy you like the taenicauda! They're so special and I've grown to love them - they're super curious and out basking in full view every day so I get to see all their curious and interesting behaviors! I'm so lucky! I'll be sure to make more reels and shorts so people get to enjoy what I see every day.
Oh my gosh Luke. You and your family are so wholesome. I loved your build. ❤. I love the way I think your dad? Looks and smiles when the camera is on him. 😂 You are what I would hope to have in a child if I were to have them. Do you like other animals? Apart from reptiles and insects.
Hi! Yes, that's my Dad! He's such a good sport. He says he doesn't know what to do when I need him on camera, but he does his best. He reminds me of Ed Roberts before he got used to being in front of the camera, and being such a fun, awesome human being to get to know. Thank you so much for liking my build! I really appreciate your taking the time to leave such a nice comment. I do have another animal but she's more like my little sister - my puppy Summer. She's 4 now and she is so protective of me. I love her very much.
Your enclosure was my favourite hands-down!
Thanks very much for your vote and for watching!
I wish all kids were like this
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your support!
Such beautiful geckos! A Strophurus is one of my dream reptiles too!,
I absolutely love them - I've been raising them now for 3 months. They are calm, and they love to bask in the open, so I'm always seeing their beautiful eyes, and their behavior. Some of my favorite new species for sure!
Bless this guy for doing this dangerous and invaluable work. He should leave room for more tattoos because i have a feeling there will be more bites.
Luke those anoles are beautiful! The blues are just awesome! More beautiful then abronia! Great video
Amazing Gecko's. I want to start a few micro habitats with some of the smallest geckos I can find. Different species, have arid and humid environments. I would be like having a collection of little worlds you maintain. Science is awesome!
Science is absolutely awesome and my favorite subject in school. I love to learn about how animals live and what we can discover about them, their environments. These guys are truly amazing. I'm getting more into learning about arid species, esp. Australian geckos - they are so hardy, lively, super beautiful, and they eat like a T-Rex!
@@LukeBugAdventures Whaaaaattttt! A T-Rex! I have to see that. 😳👏 Nick name : Geckorex 😅
I'm working on a feeding video of my geckos! You'll love it! @@happydragonreptiles695
those babies are bigger than I imagined they'd be based on the size of the eggs. Also, I'm with you on that Styrofoam squeal. Can't stand it either.
Thank you so much for watching! I'm sorry for the late reply- I just saw your comment.
Oh what a lovely video. Did you call the baby Fedex?
Thank you 💕 for liking my video! The baby t doesn't have a name until! Fedex would be fun!! Someone suggested a Lotr name! I should do a community poll!
Oooh! This species is on my wish list. Lucky you! 💚 And I love how much your parents share your enthusiasm for the animals. (Love the HerpTime cameo, too!)
Hi and Thank you! I am so grateful Armen took care of all our reptiles- we were at Snake Discovery for Buildoff and vacation for 4 weeks- Armen incubated the taenicauda laying a 2nd pair as well! Those haven't hatched yet - the incubator is back home with me now and hopefully next week for more taenicauda!
@@LukeBugAdventures I wish you and the little taenicauda to-be the best of luck!
@@ProfJCsCrittersthanks very much!
Great Job Luke! The baby's look awesome! Keep up the great work!
Thanks very much! We love this species, and hopefully we'll have more pairs next year! 🎉
Great video! Very informative and fun. Congrats on a successful hatching 🦎
Thank you very much for liking my video and leaving such a positive comment! Next video I'm putting the exact info on how I incubated the eggs - what worked and what didn't - this is typically a difficult species to hatch, and I got great advice from experts. The baby t is doing great!
