2017 F-150 Transmission Noises - 10 Speed Automatic Issues / Problem - Engine-Trans Knock (Loud)
UPDATE - Truck still has super rough shifts - jerks and jumps really bad. Ford didn't fix it at all - they told me I had to pay if I wanted any more support - so much for the FORD warranty. I HATE FORD's support.
2017 F-150 Transmission Noises - 10 Speed Automatic Issues / Problem - Engine-Trans Knock (Loud).
Listen to the "Knocking" sounds near the end of the video. Has ANYONE noticed this in their new 10 Speed Automatic Transmission?
Ford is saying its normal, but I'm calling BS. Sounds to me like a design flaw.
Many reviews rate this transmission smooth and very good, however, mine is horrible, jerky and of course noisy.

What style is this? The katas follow the shotokan patterns but are definitely not done the shotokan way.

I haven't seen a school that required much sweat , any real skill and dedication to their style since the 80's. Training has soften up like most everyone from the 90's on. Started martial arts in the 70's and am still plugging along. Spending more than a year now to get a black belt is rare, ok maybe two or three. a 13 year old at 2nd dan is the only factor that could be raised, but in this world where I have seen 5 and 6 year old black belts can't really make much of a deal about that. Congrats to any who put that much into their art.

Okay - I'm inspired to make a comment. That's a really good grading, much longer than any I've attended. Then again I'm totally done in after 3 hours training, also 10 minutes of intense fighting leaves me dropping my hands from guard.. the benefit of youth is lost to me. The kata knowledge is great. for my 2nd Dan we also had to perform and explain Bunkai to the senior instructors and judges, the realisation is we might be teaching ourselves at 2nd Dan. I cannot say how much I preferred and loved the Kanku Sho jump and kick/arm break done in a traditional form, rather than the new 'as much height as possible' WKF way. for a 13 year old... truly admirable. that was 8 years ago - so he's 20/21 now and I hope he's still training. At 20 I dropped my training and resumed again at 40, I wish it could have been otherwise - life/family/mortgage you know.

That noise coming from 4 wheel drive actuator - 99% front driver side wheel hub. Problem is: bad check valve that located above brake booster or actuator itself on a wheel hub - basically when system losing vacuum - actuator getting a bit of air and gears on a wheel hub start touching each other - that what making crazy noise.

sounds like it came from the engine, when rpm is too low for the speed. since its a automatic, it should have geared down to raise the rpm a little to prevent that rattling noise.

Anything that sounds like that, is not normal. Sounds like Ford is trying to do damage control, and they’re hoping you’re another dumb customer with limited knowledge. It’s happened to me before, and these reputable dealerships don’t give a shit about people who bust their ass for a living anymore.
