The level 3 reminded me about how a lot of people treat V-tubers. While I don't usually watch V-youtubers, I do know a lot of the drama that goes on in those communities. I can't remember any names of the particular V-tubers who were affected by the level 3 fans, but they claim to be in relationships with these youtubers who by the way mostly have a personality that goes for their character, not who they are. Recently, through this and last year, the prevelance of these parasocial relationships have risen shockingly high.

I might be wrong, but I’m pretty sure this got made because of Spielberg. The studios saw how well Jaws was doing with young audiences over in the US and commissioned Obayashi to make something to appeal to the youth. I’m so glad the studio just let him make the film he wanted, even if they hated the end result, lol.

I was just thinking about this game another day, kinda cool this was recommended. I still have a very awkward memory of me showing this "super scary game" to my cousin and a friend and they just laughing at the comically large purple bobblehead.

Woah the old man caught by the oni is Mika's father? Wheres this info from? Also apparently there were several different versions of ao oni. The first one being ao oni 1.1 which ended with Hiroshi and some of his friends actually escaping the ao oni. Hiroshi's friends had much different names and he himself looked different as he didn't wear glasses and had black hair. The story of these older versions seem to have a lot more story and mystery involved which is a shame. As much as I love the current state of ao oni, I wish there could've been more story involved. Ao oni was such a big party of my childhood. UA-camrs such as Strihiryu were really influential in my obsession with this game. As a kid I always wanted to make my own Ao Oni-inspired game but with more plot. I loved watching other gameplays of ao oni inspired fan games such as Nira Oni, Ao Oni R, oh and ESPECIALLY Heta Oni (Don't get me started on Heta Oni becuase there is so much going on with it in terms of its creation and cancellation during production). It's kinda crazy just how much love there is towards this one game. I mean there are apparently 250+ fangames based on it alone. In a nutshell, I absolutely love Ao Oni.

I'm not saying this to be extra or polemic. But the live actions were honestly the worst movies I've ever seen. Please folks go watch them. They are comically bad
