Biografy:
I started playing guitar at the age of 10 years old thanks to my father (also guitarist and "black belt" of 60s songs) who was able to convey to me the love for this instrument. I continued passionately as a self-taught artist for many years, moving from pop / rock to new age and then I became particularly interested in jazz music.
In 2007 I perfected my jazz guitar studies at the Brass Group Institute in Palermo and I later took part in the seminars conducted by the Berklee School of Boston in Perugia, following masterclasses of world-famous artists.
At the same time I started my career as a session musician with different gypsy jazz and swing formations performing in theaters, festivals and jazz clubs. I am currently studying classical guitar at the Vincenzo Bellini Conservatory in Palermo.

Among my nocturnal listening there was space, albeit for a short time, for classical music pianists. One night I came across a wonderful Debussy playlist. I was deeply fascinated by it (I wanted to write "thunderstruck" but it seemed excessive). He was one of the most important French composers at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, one of the greatest exponents of the so-called musical "impressionism". If you listen to his pieces you will immediately notice his great sensitivity and the freedom that he expressed with his musical structures without rules, almost like a painter who casts his colors on the canvas with immediacy. He was a free man. But what absolutely struck me of Debussy was a photo of him: a big man with a full beard, well dressed, bow tie and hat, sitting on a wooden chair, on a beach, with an umbrella to protect himself from the sun. Marvelous. A “Fellini-like” character. He made me a liking and an incredible tenderness. Being influenced by his music for days, I came up with a piece with a free structure (or in any case very different from the others) which I titled "The rides of Debussy".
