i grew up in a small town.didn't matter your skin color . you needed help everybody helped each other. closes neighbors to us was a black family every sunday we took turns having a sunday dinner with each other.

It's about big city lawlessness not being tolerated in a rural area. And it won't be. I live in a city on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and you'll see people open carry around here at a gas station or even a grocery store. You won't see a Baltimore or a Seattle or an LA around here. You won't see people getting sucker punched on a sidewalk or out of control protesters squaring off against law enforcement. You just won't see it. The mindset the mentality people around here won't put up with it. And that's what this song is trying to convey.

Until now!! << hitting that subscribe button>> The song & video… The best way that I can describe how this song sounds to me is…The song, by the late Toby Keith “Courtesy of The Red White and Blue” is a perfect example. When we were attacked, we came together as a country to fight the enemy. It’s the same concept in this song, just a smaller version.

There was no racism. There was hope and the knowledge people still love, care and respect one another, even when we're seeing horrors in the media. I live in a small town. "We take care of our own" means all our neighbors, no matter their background or ethnicity.

Folks who don't look close enough (like you clearly do) and who just assume the bad actors are not white are the racists. I came here because I hadn't heard this one in a while. A neighbor kid said that his family was democrat cuz they were for the poor. I asked my grandfather why he was republican if they’re for the rich. My grandfather said that if democrats ever helped anyone get rich, then they would have no voters. Republicans HAVE to raise you out of poverty if they want to keep getting your vote.
