You're a life saver! I left my M100 for dead a decade ago because something in the piston mechanism cracked and then froze. Turns out it just needed a good cleaning. 😀

Awesome.... I just cracked the back of my pen. It would be nice if you'd explain what you were doing instead of signaling. The part where you were showing the back (piston retainer) "unscrewing" off is inaccurate... It PULLS straight out. It does NOT unscrew!!! Once I get or machine a replacement tank I will make a proper video. Thanks for costing me $60...
This also works great for the M481 from the eighties, a predecessor to the M200, because the mechanism remained largely the same. Thanks man, really helped me out.

Great video. I had been trying for hours to unscrew the top of the cap of my Pelikan 200, to clean the interior which was stained with ink. After seeing you doing it, I followed the same procedure and I did it in a minute. Thank you!

My m205 clear demonstrator does pulls the piston straight out, should not be twisted out...it will damage it if you do. Great video overall
