1. Say the word, "Quest," several times, and notice how it sounds _not_ like, "Koo-est," but like, "Kwest." Such is the case with the Spanish name, "Arturo Fuente." (Fwen-teh) 2. If you hold your lighter just far enough away that the flame _ignites_ the foot without _touching_ it directly, you'll _toast_ the cigar without any _scorched_ flavor in the initial draw. It takes a bit longer, but your patience will be rewarded. I learned this from a video demonstration by Eddie Sahakian (Davidoff of London), and the flavor difference is remarkable! Of course, when the wind refuses to cooperate, we do what we must. When it's time for a cigar, I would rather have a bitter first puff (and possibly first third) than no cigar at all. 3. Cigar fermentation does _not_ strip out nicotine. It strips out ammonia. The risk of _lung_ cancer is almost zero because...as you say...they're not meant to be _inhaled._ However, the abundance of nicotine and other naturally occurring chemicals _does_ slightly increase one's risk of oral and esophageal cancers, fractionally proportional to frequency of use. 4. As for addiction, one _could_ hypothetically "chain smoke" cigars, but it's likely that...even without inhaling...one would become nauseated and/or light-headed after a short while. Thus, cigars _could be_ addictive, but most people simply aren't capable of smoking them frequently enough to introduce that level of nicotine into their bodies. 5. With all this in mind, the _meditative ritual_ of cigar smoking (like the one described in #2 above), as well as the benefits of simply _relaxing_ and _breathing with intent,_ while putting all other distraction on hold for an hour or so, make the psychological, emotional, and...ideally...social benefits of cigar smoking absolutely worth the risks! ENJOY!!!

Having said that, cigar smokers _do_ have a slightly higher rate of oral and esophageal cancers; however, as noted in this video, cigar smokers are generally savvy enough to realize the calculated risks. For me, the meditative qualities of the _ceremony_ of cigar smoking...as well as literally focusing on my breathing for an hour...provide a therapeutic value that is worth those risks.

Which is true partly to a degree BUT any true cigar afficionado knows that cigars are the great equalizer and brings together all walks of life. I once associated the high dollar sticks to be the best but quickly realized that theres no dollar figure attached when it comes to an enjoyable stick. You might look into anything done by Drew Estates…the Java line is an incredible treat from time to time, 601 blue labels are fantastic, New Worlds (the brand) are also amazing. There are a lot of really good cigars out there. Arturo Fuentes makes a bunch of wonderful cigars as well. There is a big world to explore. Personally, I like cigars that have fairly complex profiles but I never complain about something with notes of chocolate, coffee and spices. Find what profiles you enjoy and explore things that will match those profiles 😊

Very nice classy presentation! Be sure to try some more of the New World cigars as well, especially the Maduro types which many have a very chocolaty, coffee to expresso, to dark cherry and nutty flavors; if those flavors appeal to your palate. Cubans are delicious, however do have different more mild flavor in general in comparison. I recommend the Olmec Maduro, CLE Prieto 550, Rocky Patel Sixty/ Sixty, and Oliva Melanio, and of course the Padron 1926 Anniversary for starters. Enjoy your smoke!

Also had bad experiences at Chanel. I only buy preloved now to save the hassle of being treated poorly or ignored. Unless there is something specific I’ve seen on social media that I want to go in and get, I don’t think I’d ever go in there just to browse anymore. It’s a shame to get such unreliable service for a brand whose quality doesn’t live up to the prices now.

Bottom line- trends are for followers! Period! Natural Leaders do what makes sense with confidence. I will forever carry tiny or medium bags because all I need is a phone, lipstick, key fob and three cards. Big bags for me are simply for travel and then unpacking at the hotel or rental and then I’m switching to my mini. No one should want to look too complicated with a huge bag for day time use.
