Garbage Truck Game - Unreal Engine 5.0 First Test
This is a first test of my garbage truck game made in unreal engine 5. I'm self learning the program, and gave myself a project that my 3 year old son would enjoy playing at the end of it. It's using kitbash3d's storefronts as the background buildings, which are pretty heavy for a video game. I'm stuttering a bit on my GTX1070. I set it to only go forwards and back, the arm auto comes down for bins, 2 buttons control the lifting and lowering arm, 2 other buttons hit the horn. My 3 year old can't turn and drive forwards at the same time yet so I removed all steering until the end screen fun zone.
I learned a TON making this, and I've got a long way to go before this could be a real game! Next goal is to recreate this for mobile with much simpler assets.

I got like 50$ glass protector, I forgot to test jitter in my ipad before hand, I'm using pencil pro on m4 13 inch, and it have horrible jitter, worse than yours, I don't know if it the tempered glass or just the new pencil pro, but I don't want to rip it just yet, as it expensive for now thanks for the video, this give me idea what wrong!

Thanks for sharing your video, I was going crazy, I was sure he didn't do it as soon as I bought the iPad which I tried in all ways, then I also thought it could be The fault of the protective glass but I didn't want to remove it and consequently throw it away, then I found your video that confirmed my suspicions!! Thank you very very much

got my 2022 ipad pro last week. tried drawing on it. compared to my old surface device, it felt amazing! then i figured i'd stick a tempered screen protector to protect this expensive device. started drawing this week, the surface was impossible to draw on, i really thought i broke the pen with how much it wiggles... i'll get a bellemond to see if the issue get fixed

I've heard some people complain about the tooth the Bellemond screen has, saying it has too much texture and wears down the pencil. I was interested when you said you couldn't imagine it wearing out the Apple Pencil. I'm assuming it all comes down to how hard each person presses on the screen, though I'm still looking for a screen protector and haven't tested it out for myself. Would you say you have a lighter hand when drawing? Great video btw, definitely one of the more informative ones out there!

I removed my screen protector from matte to glass (to get a clearer and better screen quality) but I’m a little sorry 😅. Because it’s not very good to draw. But maybe I will use it for the next 1 year, because I think it’s quite expensive in my opinion (I bought a spigen product)

THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO! I recently bought an iPad and was really worried that something was wrong with it - but now I think it’s just the glass screen protector I’d like to add a tip here: for those who can’t take the screen protector (like me, cuz I’m really scared of breaking something haha-crying), try setting just a little bit of Motion Filtering in the Pressure & Smoothing prefs in Procreate 0.1% was enough to get rid of pretty much all my wavy lines, as long as I'm not drawing very slowly And yes, you still can feel the difference drawing, specially in circles or very curved lines But, from my experience, it’s just a little bit, and you eventually get used to it. Well, that’s it! Once again, thank you for the video! I hope this tip may help someone else too

@@foxypinky1317 Hi! From my experience, increasing the Motion Filtering setting in Procreate just a bit is enough to get rid of most wobbly lines - specially if you draw quickly (drawing slower makes them more visible again) I hope this helps! Sorry, I couldn't find any conf with "Accuracy" as its exact name, but I think the Motion Filtering is the closest thing to it If you're using other apps than Procreate, look for stabilization settings, it may help.

Are there no tempered glass sceen protectors without this wobbling issue? This would bother me quite much but I also don't want micro scratches over time and definitely no matte screen protector.

I’ve been drawing on the bare screen since removing my paper-like protector that I didn’t like at all -too noisy and simply didn’t like the harsh feel. I’m just really looking to get less glare when drawing outside.

Hey guys, I've ordered the exact iPad and it's yet to come. Planning to use primarily for note taking. I've not yet decided which app. It could be good notes, notebility, notion, apple notes anything which caters to note taking. So will I have this jittery wobbles when writing and occasionally drawing in my notes in these above mentioned apps as I'm planning to get the exact tempered glass. An answer would be appreciated. Thanks.

    • @hackynat4481
      @hackynat4481 Рік тому

For notes, if you're ok with the bit of wobble, it would be fine. I mean it won't be illegible. Maybe try another brand than esr, I suspect all tempered glass will behave the same but maybe another brand is thinner and less wobbly.

This is hands down the best comparison I've seen, clear and to the point! I just bought my first iPad (a Pro 9.7, older I know, but I want to start cheap 😂) and haven't been sure about bothering with a protector. I think I'll definitely keep it bare for now and just be extra careful about how I treat it!

Honestly the biggest issue is Procreate's particular style of smoothing. Inking with it can be a nightmare, especially if your lineart leans on the thinner side. I just got the Clip Studio Paint Ex, and I love it. Though I still slightly prefer how brush textures look in Procreate, so I'm hoping that someday they redesign the stabilizer from scratch

THANK YOU for this video! I've been on the lookout for a matte screen protector (mainly for the paper-feel) and when I finally purchased one, I was so disappointed to find out about this diagonal line wobble problem (mine was worse than in your matte screen protector demonstration). How come no one is talking about this? since this is so detrimental for art. Also, why does this even happen in the first place?

I tried the Bellemond and found it awful for jitter & pixelation on fine lines compared to bare screen, so I just stick to bare screen and a good case, I don’t venture out really for urban work as I’m mostly desk drawing so protection or glare isn’t the priority for me

Seems like the wobby line has to do with how you hold your pencil? Instead of having the thumb lying down flat on the pencil, the thumb should be bent inwards, so that the tip of the thumb is pinning down the pencil for extra stability.
