I rRemember my first view of this song. I was all pumped, but the moment the piano started, I was just like ah fuck dude and slumped in my chair. By the end of it, I was 100% sobbing, which isnt something that happens to me commonly. spiritbox Constance made me sob too, they turn pain into art and you feel it.

I'm with you, this band is amazing! I would highly recommend "Slow Motion" live at Gildehallen. Also, their music video released just previously to this one, "Bardaginn," is an absolute banger, especially if you like harder stuff.

I listen to Kalandra nowadays even more than Aurora (she is the best though). Especially during walks in nature and taking photos. Especially their soundtrack to Kingdom Two Crowns, which is more of an ambient. As for recommendation, it is simple: any of their songs. Most of them are my favourites, depends on your preferences. For a similar band, definitely try London Grammar: great, emotional and colourful female vocals, harmonies, melodies and sound. And Haelos are also great, a little more dancy. I listened to KEXP performances of both of them a lot, but others could suggest something else probably. And you know Billie Eilish, right? She is deservedly famous :)

Their music can be simple but delicate as ocean ripples on a calm day and powerful as a swelling tide.

If these two songs moved you then the song Borders is a must. It's Kalandra at their most stripped back, with similarly impactful lyrics. Ragnarök Films has made most of their music videos (including both the above). All of their music is worth a listen (Rolf's suggestions are great!).

When I heard the song, I couldn’t stop thinking “That’s so Faouzia” I love her so much!!!

It's been nearly 2 months and I'm still not over it. Pixking a favorite feels impossible but if I absolutely had to, it's Stockholm Butterfly. The way they sing the chorus and bridge is gorgeous and haunting. The transition from the chorus to bridge and the use of drums in the outro just 🤌🏻

If you knew Mariah's voice you would have known that this is literally how she sounds 😭 her voice changed. Yall be hearing her songs from 2005 and thinking she sounds the same like no. But i think she sounded hella good and lifted the song up. Also, the whole production was Ariana's choice, she wanted it to be loud.
