Molly Wise made her solo debut in Penderecki’s Viola Concerto with the Cleveland Institute of Music Orchestra in October 2018. She is currently a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University, and performs extensively throughout Houston, TX with classical and contemporary groups including Musiqa, Da Camera, Kinetic Ensemble, and more. She was second prize winner in the Houston Tuesday Musical Club Competition, a finalist in the 2021 American Viola Society Collegiate Solo Competition, and a recurring guest teacher and chamber coach at Potomac Music in Lorton, VA. Her principal teachers include James Dunham, Jeffrey Irvine, Lynne Ramsey, and Ramon Scavelli.

Molly was a Da Camera of Houston Young Artist 2020-2022. She has been featured in master classes with Yizhak Schotten, Cynthia Phelps, and Victoria Chiang, and has played under the batons of Marin Alsop, Thomas Adés, and Daniel Harding, among others.
