I have tried that before, in the beginning of S3 on the eternal realm and I honestly don't like it. It's just too artificial when it's set up. The idea of the PvP zone is that it's not going to be fair and you should run from your enemy or lure them to specific location/mobs etc. and be able to utilize whatever you can to win and "exploit" the environment to your advantage. This also includes the moment of surprise. That's what makes the PvP interesting to me. And when it's set up, all of that is lost.

Yep, melee rogues are dead for pvp now. Unless you run 100% dodge chance. But that's not pvp anymore. It's BS. With barbs doing billions and trillions of damage, even with damage reduction, you still can't survive as a melee. Only ranged rogues are viable for pvp now.

Yes, you don't care about resistances and armor. If you want to ge to 100% dodge you max dex and take GA afixes dodge chance and temper dodge everywhere.

@@aspergaming8396 I'm not specifically talking about this video. I'm talking about "pvp" in Diablo 4 in general. This game isn't created with pvp in mind at all, hence why it's completely poorly executed. It's not a difficult concept to grasp.

I just did a quick test again: ua-cam.com/video/yVyHxFiiT3g/v-deo.html The damage is fine. I managed to kill 2 barbs level 100, 2 sorcs level 100 and 1 barb level 88. Didn't have problems. However, there was one barb with Martial Vigor that I couldn't damage almost at all. It seems he had MV to 95%+. So that's why I wouldn't judge the damage based on barb fights. Otherwise, yes - you can sacrifice chance to freeze (if you have more than 100%) for more damage, like vulnerable or just flat damage.

It does less damage than the Andi builds, yes. But it should still be fine. Are you saying it's a lot less damage based on fighting barbs or any characters? Because you shouldn't base your damage output on how fast you take down barbs. Almost every barb in the pvp zones is now running martial vigor to some extend, and it's pain to kill them. Nevertheless, I am currently running the non-Andi heartseeker and it melts tier 99 of the Pit in 2-3 minutes. And damage is good, if we are not talking about barbs. But it shouldn't be a problem for fighting other characters? Have you played against others than barbs? How is it there?

​@@aspergaming8396thanks for the answer... yes I found 3 barbarians and I managed to take them all down even if slowly, I'm almost immortal too with this variant if I were to go back to the one with andariel I would have 98.5 slave but with incense.... having them Probate both I notice that with andariel it does quite a bit more damage, however immortal magician apart from the fact that he cannot be killed so far no barbarian has managed to throw me down on some I noticed that being slower to kill with the variant without andariel we ran away because the life went down slowly anyway....if they had stayed there with me I would have died because they didn't do me any harm.....do you recommend me to go back to the version with andariel?? I only use it for pvp... thanks for the answer... maybe having already the 120 chance of freezing I could sacrifice lucky shot in the gloves and add attack speed... No way. You can't kill them with anything. They take 0 damage. It's absolute BS as 100% dodge rogue and flame shield sorcs.

Yes you can kill them. Just bring them around mobs. Then rapture with he aoe It will one shot them

Absolutely right, can't kill less you bring mobs around. I play a 100 Dodge rogue, only way to kill them is splash damage from mobs. Sorcs won't have infinite shield next season so that's that.

I usually try to avoid killing people who are not level 100 (unless they are barbs), but sometimes panic surprise kicks in and I accidentally kill them. However, once S5 comes and flame shield is gone, there shall be no mercy for any sorc, regardless the level!

@@aspergaming8396 apparently 25 MV barb can cheese hydra sorc by bringing their pet dog. The hydra will target pet dog instead of the barb. Nice game Blizz. 25MV barbs can be killed by non-elites (minions, hydra, etc.)

@@Sagitaro 12 people is the limit in every zone except for the capital cities. So, unless someone of them leaves, new players cannot enter in our instance.

I wouldn't use Andi with rapid fire. Instead, if I would use rapid fire, I would go for normal helmet with dex or dodge chance as GA and temper dodge chance to get to 90-95% and chance to freeze to 100, with might aspect. With Andi you need several procs to get the DoT running quickly. With rapid fire, 1 shot is all you need. Rapid fire has way higher damage output than heartseeker, but the downside is that it requires more skill to play it, as you can miss the target relatively often, especially against good players. However, if you hit them, you can either 1 shot them ot take half of their HP. For rapid fire I would use this paragon and skill tree: d4builds.gg/builds/7b2111bf-e52f-4e85-a848-f3db70e53bf8/?var=0 For the weapons again - dex as GA and instead of vulnerable damage, you temper flat damage and chance for rapid fire to cast twice. On one of the rings instead of smiting I would take expectant and on the other sword instead of elements I would take accelerating.

On the amulet you can take Undying and on the bow - aspect of repeating.

Ah, yes. My bad. Just fixed it. Remove 3 points from concealment and put 1 in Smoke grenade, enhanced smoke grenade and subverting smoke grenade.

Create a rogue and try to spam the same 3 buttons in the PvP zones when 80% of the players are barbs. Then get hatred's chosen and come tell me that spamming the buttons was enough.

It's seasonal realm. However, I am playing in EU. Monday to Friday during the day rarely there's anyone. But after 20:00pm people start coming, especially on Friday night and the weekend. These extended pvp fight however, occur mostly at night on Friday and weekends.

Tier 110 is the limit of this build and it's very likely that you won't be able to finish it because the timer will run out before you kill the boss. You need at least some crit damage for the pit. However, in pvp is quite useless, because: 1. crit damage is capped at 200% in pvp 2. DoT is superior to crit damage in PvP. Exceptions are effects that causes DoT based on your crit damage - e.g. Gushing Wounds.

If you change the gear (not the weapons) with dodge, rapid fire would be stronger. than this build. It's essentially the same build, but on the weapons instead of heart seeker you temper chance for rapid fire to cast twice and you also temper damage instead of vulnerable damage. Finally, you take Precision key passive instead of Victimize. I am 100% sure that this would be stronger than Andi Heartseeker.

Yes, but if you are not 100% dodge you will get rekt with melee rogue. And 100% dodge is BS in my opinion because it makes you quite immortal. I think that it still doesn't make you completely immortal vs bloodwave or firewall, but I am not sure. But with 95% you can die in 1 second from firewall or bloodwave.

@aspergaming8396 I agree completely with the immortal builds.....it sucks. I only do it when I come across others using it. Infinite flame shield sorcs are just annoying af and damn barbs taking no damage also. It really takes all the fun and skill out of pvp

Most of the barbs in the video are with thorns. It's easily avoidable with enough dodge. Only bleed/dust devil barbs can be a challenge.

In my experience no. Because as melee you don't have good survivability, even with nearly 100% dodge, which is already quite difficult to get. Especially dust devil/bleed barbs can rekt you in no time. Only ranged rogues are viable in my opinion. If they don't bring down the barb damage, melee rogue will be out of the pvp for quite some time.
