Those were some beautiful fish. I hope to do some salt water fishing one day! How do those fish eating wise compare to a crappie or bluegill?
A lot more meat for 1 and ehhh there’s nothing like a crappie or a bluegill for eating I love them more than I do most of these saltwater fish . The only fish I really like out of saltwater is trout . Trout is a super delicious fish lol. Its more fun for me in saltwater because of the chance to catch something big man it’s just a different world of fishing but you can still bring your freshwater fish knowledge to saltwater and apply it and still catch fish . You should definitely go one day man and whenever you do good luck ! You’ll catch something I know it !

Hey ! It’s a rod I use in saltwater for bigger swimbaits and plugs . It’s a Shimano Teramar SE Medium Heavy Extra Fast. The reel is a stratic 4000 size reel

7foot ! Sorry I thought I typed the length. The 7ft is probably a good all around size for different scenarios. But look up the benefits of having a 7’6 and compare it to the 7ft and keep in mind what you will be using it for and go with what you think is best . You will catch fish either way either one of them !!
