Hands down, Tim has the most beautiful, practical, efficient and well thought out tecnic available out there, i have a slightly different tecnic because my lines a shorter and my rods faster and stiffer, but when i put a longer line on my rods his tecnic is the best.

That cast at min 1.50 is beautiful, poetry in motion, every little detail of the cast is maxed out of efficiency to absolut perfection.

Spent the day practicing these principles with this Tributary line on home water. Really enjoy it.

Fantastic instructional video. I’ve been Spey casting for years here in Scotland but it’s always great to see someone break the cast down & every day is a school day. What is the set up you are casting??

Tim, thanks for this excellent video. I am a new spey caster and I get out and practice often. I've got a decent Snap-T and Double spey. This season I will be working on my Snake Roll and Single Spey casts.
