you changed the fuel pump and it's still not giving any gas pressure.... lol here's a well deserved helping handy tip!! especially if you've been running this thing with what you perceived as a small exhaust leak.... the engine bay gets really hot on its own nevermind the added exhaust leak.... 🍻

I 3d printed a snow racer for fpv class. It faired well over this icy terrain. missed my chance at the packing snow 2 days previous to the ice rain.... smh oh well.

I was mucking around with retro pie and sbc's.... mistook drive :E for drive :D... This is the only free way to reverse the ill effects of a misdirected image burnt over the passport ssd external hard drive WITHOUT forking over cash.

Jeep compass base 2011 here. It was cranked then won’t start, shut down itself. I checked the relay box, neither have corrosions. I gave it a jumped , now it won’t cranked , not even turning over. Welp !

You can also just take off the plasticcover and turn the actuator backwards with an angled circlip remover through the 2 holes for it - and at the sametime smear the moving parts inside.

This was a terrible video. The negative isn't explained. The negative is on opposite end of same linear pin out. Apologies

Where’s the “other side” I just made the mistake hooked the positive to 1 and can’t find where to hook the negative brother
So long as you got the one in the video right you won't mess up by guessing which pin. But it's the furthest pin on same level I believe..

The video connection for the 12 volt are terminals 3 and 6. The motor is bi-directional so be careful not to stall the motor at the end of the fulcrum as it will wear out the nylon fulcrum and possibly over heat without a fuse! As the presenter says if the motor pulls in the rubber boot, then a push on the end will lock in the push rod ready for installation and the motor power can be de-energized. There is no way to retract the push rod without the action of the 12 volt motor as the heavy spring and fine motor screw prevent the push rod from retracting under force. The other terminals work as counters something like the brake ABS System. I bought a new actuator only to find that the motor was open circuit and the brushes had not been installed during assembly . So my advise is to use your Ammeter and check for a resistance reading across terminals 3 and 6, before installing the assembly in the vehicle.
Will the dash light up if the relay is bad?..my car won't crank but dash lights up...maybe the starter?
If your not getting the engine to turn over. It is the starter. This fix is for the transmission relay wire. If it gets corroded. You will never start this vehicle untill that is repaired.
Hey do u think this could be the issue with the 2011 jeep liberty jet edition aswell? No engine lights ,drove to chicago parked the jeep at the airport for 6 months.come back it wont start,new battery and new starter,still wont start? In your opinion what would u think my problem is?

Cheers. I have no other option then self diagnosis with everything that doesn't work properly around me. Lol. TBH. the Jeep compass isn't really a jeep. An suv yes... but you can get the same engine and inside console with a dodge caliber.
I have a jeep patriot 2011 with 90,000 miles with a brand new battery. They say with the jeep patriot its a bad thottle body.. one guy said also its the red wire needs to be resoldered.. My hubby will fix it I am sure ..

How do I clean out the corrosion? Seems like a pretty easy fix even for a noobie like myself, but what would you recommend?
Weird thing about this for me though is, after a while, I'm able to jump the car?
I have a pick like screwdriver. I scratched away the corrosion and used brake cleaner one one of the connections that was salvageable. Then there was a severely corroded connection I couldn't salvage. I actually had to replace the connections. It's not hard or tedious. Just a shitty location.

Teddy, thanks for the video, my friend has this vehicle and same issue. Tore it apart to get it all wired back up and then the rad fan wouldn't shut off so another wire was also corroded.... Needed to replace the entire TIPM. Terrible design and brutal issue. Thanks for the post or I wouldn't have gotten to the issue solo.
