Daemon's most significant vision, which includes glimpses into Daenerys Targaryen, a White Walker, and the Three-Eyed Raven, was kept for last in House of the Dragon season 2. Although I understand the reasoning behind its inclusion and the attempt to tie it to Daemon's storyline and his knee-bending of Rhaenyra, I would have liked if the show had avoided making such a strong connection to Game of Thrones.
Too many prequels make the mistake of giving too much away in order to set up the portion of the franchise that follows. The timeline of House of the Dragon was designed to avoid this because there is a significant lag before Game of Thrones. Since the song of ice and fire dream by Aegon the Conqueror was primarily concerned with how it would impact the current plot, even he avoided it. This somewhat accomplishes the same objective, but it goes a bit too far in connecting the dots because we really get to witness a White Walker and Daenerys.
