Can You Use a Silicone Mold With Polymer Clay?
Very pretty! Great way to use your scrap clay.
What brand clay do you prefer?
Beautiful colors! Thanks for sharing your technique for marbling.
These are beautiful. ❤ Love how the holographic glitter changes with different clay color. Amazing!
I’m a new Subscriber 😊. I love this marbling technique! These are perfectly beautiful. The colors are very southwest
@@ARTBYSPARKLE Thank you so much!! ❤️❤️
Thanks so much dear! I really enjoyed watching that❤ and may I know what colours did you use for those bright ones in the beginning of the video?
This might be a stupid question. Do you add the earring holes before or after the baking and resin?
Fake stone, no power, no memory, toy for kid 6 years wish low cost....
Very helpful video
Why it's difficult to take out from the mold
Slay
Do you wait for the paint to dry before you mix it?
Great tutorial thank you
Can you use triple thick instead of resin? I want to wrap a pen with this clay mixture so UV resin wouldn’t work (without a cup turner and I don’t want to invest in that for one project 😅)
Beautiful, new to the clay world and wondered do earrings need a sealant? Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! You don’t have to seal polymer clay. I do like adding uv resin to some designs because it does make the colors more vibrant.
You say 275* for 25 minutes. How thick are the shapes? My premo says 30 min for every 1/4" so I would think for 1/8" that I half the time? Is that wrong?
Do you need to let it dry overnight before cutting
Oh no…. I just give it about 5 mins or so.
❤
Thank you for explaining everything so well and giving tips!❤
I just discovered these paints on my run to target. I love them for my projects.
Thank you so much!
Thank you for the video! Dont you have to let it dry ? 😮
I let the paint dry slightly, but not fully.
Very concise instructions. Quite helpful.
Thank you! So glad you found it helpful! 🥰
Thank you for sharing your tutorial. Love these earrings. Just started polymer clay. You are an inspiration to us crafters!
This is the sweetest compliment! Thank you! Good luck on your polymer clay journey. ❤️❤️
Hallo , tolles Video. Muss man den Clay immer condizionieren?
Who else saw the picture icon and thought this was a cooking video and the meal was brains?
Do you mind sharing how thick was was the sheet before cutting it into shapes? What setting did you use in pasta machine. And yes, thank you for the tutorial.
thanx. very helpful. quick question. can i do the same technique for things like making little valentine hearts for valentine’s day, Christmas trees for christmas, to hang on my xmas tree and just some other fun art projects?
Absolutely! That would be so fun!
I want this mold
Honey comb shaped board (or mold) where did you purchase?
Nice
Did you add the earring backs for the studs the tiem you baked them or do you cook/resin them and then bake the back of the earrings on?
Adding the backs is always the last step for me. I bake them, resin the tops, then add the backs and resin them onto the earrings for extra security.
Interesting technique! Lovely result! Thanks for sharing!❤
Thank you for watching! ❤️
wow, you made it look so easy! I watched other tutorial on making fake quartz today, but the process was so long and too complicated for me as a beginner. Super glad I came across this one. I have couple of questions though - what do you use for drilling holes? Also, if I use an alcohol ink instead of acrylic paint, would it work as well?
Hi! I am so happy that the video was helpful and easy to follow for you. ❤️ To answer you questions, I use a Dremel type tool, which is essentially a small handheld drill. And as far as the alcohol inks, YES!! I’ve used them many times for this exact process and they always come out beautiful.
I am a trainee pen maker and i want to create this design for a pen. Instead of acrylic paint, can i use alcohol ink?
Absolutely!! Alcohol inks are a great option, and I actually use them often. ☺️
@@greatestoftheseco7473 Cool! 😊
Essa massa é argila?
Que liquido é esse que vc coloca na massa?
I used acrylic paint, and liquid translucent clay.
Por favor gave um video em portugues
❤very educational video. They turned out so pretty.❤I loved the designers as well.
Thank you so much!
I totally love these earings. What do you use to protect the tabe? Or use so the clay dont stick to the tabel?
Thank you!! I’m actually using piece of tile to work on. I’ve never had an issue with it sticking to it.
These are so pretty! I'm definitely going to try some swirl earrongs now. :) but E6000 is a terrible glue to use for earrings. It will pull right off! Gorrilla super glue gel is the best I've found.
Hi! Thank you so much for the tutorial. My slab came out really sticky and couldn't get it through the pasta machine. Do you know why would that might be? Also do you let the acrylics to get fried before mixing? Thank you💜
I’m sorry your clay was too sticky! So a few things you can do to help with that in the future. I like to allow my acrylic and liquid clay to partially dry. Another thing I will do if I’m working with a particularly sticky slab, is throw it in the freezer for about 10 mins. This helps to somewhat harden it, so it’s not quite as sticky. It could also be the type of clay you’re using. Cernit translucent is a lot softer than Sculpey Premo or soufflé. I stay away from Sculpey lll because it’s not easy to work with. I hope this helps! 🫶🏻
Ой,какая красота! Супер!
Where did u get that metal bowl thing you're using as a mold?
I actually bought a set from HomeGoods!
What are the names of the colors used?
ahhhh soooo pretty 😍
Thank you!! ❤️
Out of all the videos I have watched this one helped me so much ! I literally have the same mold and followed you ever step of the way ❤ for your studs, what do you recommend for the holding? (Glue)
That is so kind of you to say! I am so glad you found it helpful. I secure backs with E6000, and then uv resin for extra security. ❤️
Very pretty!
Thank you!
very nice
Do you poke the holes before or after baking :,)
I drill them after they’re baked ☺️
