Same but this beta stole my heart, I often walk into my garage turn on the lights, stare for a couple minutes then go back inside....like 10x a day 😆

Yea, I didn't touch a thing as I wanted to get a baseline. 38p 165M 3 pos on clip. Floats terribly high. Bike was rideable but very rich and fluffy down low you can hear it in some spots, i believe I dumped fuel all over that mountain as I managed 30miles a TANK! Lol I have since made some adjustments and seems to have really cleaned it up. Will put it to the test here shortly. Thanks for watching, one of the more boring videos but I appreciate ya!

I have the same bike and ride the some areas, I ‘m trying out a jd kit now. I got one ride on it and find it a bit on the lean side, I moved the clip to a richer setting, just haven’t made it out. I’m planning on going smart carb soon.

@@dustinkingman3498 that's exactly my plan with the SC2 I just want to make sure I experience it with a fully dialed in carb before I make the jump. Rich Larson and others love the carb but I don't think they ride with such a variety of elevation as we do here in the pnw. Friday I'll be at sea level and 60-70 degrees, Saturday I'm at 3.5k at 40-50 degrees

@@dustinkingman3498 hey man just so you know I Lowered the floats (eyeballed) a smidgen and put in a 162m and moved needle to #2 from top, and that really woke the bike up. I have absolutely no complaints other than range compared to SC2. I squeezed out 50 miles today on the keihin

@@pnwoodzz I have a 21 Beta 300rr, running the oil injection. Put a SC2 on it and got way better mileage as compared to the Keihin, but have yet to get it to work as well as the Keihin. Baseline settings were lean to the point of surging at idle and a major lean bog. Adjusted until the lean bog was going and ran nicely, but now it majorly loads up on downhills. Will try to mess with the float on the SC2 to get rid of the downhill issues, but for now I put the Keihin back on. Note I have the JD kit on the Keihin and it runs very nicely and seems to have better power both down low and when you crack the throttle. How are you liking the suspension of the Beta compared to past bikes.

Go see John, unfortunately shelton is one of those places that you just have to know. Volunteering on a work party is a great way to learn where all the goods are. :)
