A drop of school glue set with iron will hold seam still
Thank you that's a great tip. I did figure out it was happening in my situation. The plastic cover to my throat plate was "lifting" while I was stitching in that area. Once I used some painters tape to hold it in place, it never happened again.

Most annoying thing ever....no pockets in pants......second most annoying thing is 'bracelet' length sleeves. It seems like us gifted women are not important enough to have full length sleeves.

I'm a quilter, so I always have batting scraps. I save them for these wonderful projects. Love the idea of using felt, especially for something you might not wash. Test it for colorfastness. ;)

I like using Elmer’s School Glue stick as well, because it’s washable and can’t be oversprayed.🙄😊
I've used that with the regular sewing machine a few times but never thought about it for embroidery. Great tip!

What was appliqué in this project the Band-Aids and stuff on the front was appliqué and then had sent instant you on top.
Great tip with the tissue paper to keep the foot/needle from getting caught when putting the backing on!
Thanks Mary, I discovered that little tip the hard way. Amazing how a simple scrap of tissue paper can prevent a horrible disaster!

This is cute. I have problems with the same thing on underside. And no matter how much I try I measure everything, and make sure to pin seams together. My corners never match.
