What a waste to build an actual bridge to build this bridge! In terms of economics I don't think that makes sense! I've checked how Americans and Western countries built their suspension bridges and I can't find one case where this 'extravagant' method was employed! I hope some overseas based western trained engineer can respond to this.

I am not a Guyanese but I visited your country in 1973, I would like to know what makes Rupert Craig so important that a road is named after him, I live in Europe here we watch our speed, I don't see any signs indicating the speed limit I think there should have been at least some bridges built over the road or some underpasses for pedestrians. This road is not safe for pedestrians it is a highway for cars

About the New Berbice High Span Bridge. I believe that President Ali need to re-consider building a 4 lane bridge instead of a 3 lane. The reason being, is because we have to provide for heavy vehicle and machinery traffic from Suriname, French Guyana, & Brazil. Trade, tourism, etc will explode on the earstern side of Guyana. Berbice needs to modernize and build faster to accommodate.

I still believe that this is a mission impossible for this bridge to be completed by March 2025. There are too many OBSTACLES. Let's see. I projected it may finished by between May to June, 2025.
