    Nein!! Die Deutsche HEER = GERMAN ARMY, Die Deutsche Luftwaffe = GERMAN AIR FORCE, und Die Deutsche Kriegsmarine = GERMAN NAVY.

    Interesting how you played up racial differences versus ideological differences. The mainstream German population viewed the war in the east as fighting Bolshevism.

    Montgomery's plan was flawed from the get go.. These troops were dropped too far from the target , but even with that , they were expected to secure multiple bridges that were highly contested by the Germans ... The 101st lost hundreds of men who had survived the D-day operations that had ultimately assured the Normandy landings...

    • @KJ-md2wj
      @KJ-md2wj 5 днів тому

      And didn't the Germans also find the operations plan on one of the soldiers, so they knew where to be? The plan to go to Berlin on the North Plain route instead thru the centre would have saved a lot of lives, both German civilian and Allied, in the battles further south. Freemason Eisenhower wanted as many dead as possible is my theory.

    This is the problem with resistance-fighters. We had resistance-fighters in France, Russia, Germany, Poland and many other countries. They are hiding among the civilians, the army had a lot of problems with them and try to find them. The result is always the same. The Americans had a problem with one single German resistance fighter, so they killed the people in the German village. In France the German had problems with this local resistance-fighters and so they try to find this people in this village, at the end a lot of civilians were death. As the Russian came and some "smart" German tried to stop them in his village, he was the reason for the death of a lot of civilians in his little German village. It is always stupid. This resistance-fighters believe that they can hide in between civilians and they can shoot out of the group of civilians, so the army can not find and kill them. But this resistance-fighters bring the people of this villages in big danger.

    Actually, it's well known that the Prinz Eugen destroyed the Hood with a high arc 8'' shell penetrating the #2 turret and detonating the powder magazine. The Bismarck could not elevate her guns to reach that distance, whereas the Heavy Cruiser Eugen could, though it was, at best, a pure luck shot

      USS Missouri, was the most powerful floating platform. Served in all theaters of WW2 and is back in service. A full broadside would shove the vessel laterally a considerable amount and it is still floating around asking someone to find out.
