Mine is just the dual seat from Ariel Rider site. I added the back rest from Amazon.

Yes change hd to 22....... if you actually use a gps itll be more accurate at 22....

Rode this way for some time wrks as promised but your battery wares severly ...and consistent amount of time using any pedal assist you will drop a bar of battery cooking along....up hill the bike will try and maintain that high top speed.....i dont recommend this method if you want lasting life out your bike... limiters are in place for a reason. Its fun for a few rides though.
Because of laws not capability. 28 is the highest speed an ebike can go legally.
Be carful i fried my controller with a low powered led and it took months to get another
Thanks for the comment , and as always I advise everyone to be cautious when doing modifications. However I have been running this headlight upgrade for over 2 years now and have had no issues at all, although I will say I did just upgrade my control unit and added a key switch as well as a new headlight/tail light switch that will ultimately support a 72v upgrade coming soon. Be on the watch for the video on my controller upgrade and full twist throttle with Key switch upgrades. Cheers and thanks for watching my videos.
Thank you for replying it wasn't a pleasant experience with ariel rider . I simplying installed a a led upgrade after extensive research and lost all my lights . I have some knowledge of electric components as a rc enthusiasts I will continue to watch your utube thank you sharing mike
@user-pr3kb2re3n in my experience with them I had that issue when I first got the bike and they replaced the controller which was the problem and their customer service for me was a great experience as I had another issue with the motor very soon after making a grind noise. Both times they overnight shipped both and covered my shipping to return the default items. I also got some neighbors to get a few of these bikes and they had controller issues too. When they were shipped the new controller it looks like they upgraded it as the old one I think was a known problem. Thanks again for the watch and comments.
@@electricslide I love my 52v x class. I bought the first batch out it took 4 months to receive it I have 7000 miles now with no other issues

The Rockbros bag you showed seems too thin. However, the bag you have on now looks too thick, like it would get in the way of pedaling. I have seen reviews that confirm this. Is there a nice in between alternative?
While I agree the rockbro bag was too small, in my experience I have never had any issue riding / peddling with the bag shown in the video. But that's my opinion. As for other bags I didn't look much after these two unfortunately wouldn't have any other recommendations but I'm sure if you look around there is a million out there.
@@electricslide I see you upgraded the seat. Maybe it’s the smaller stock seat that makes the bag get in the way. I am getting my bike soon. I’ll have to do some measuring. Thank you for your response, your bike looks great.
My control screen will.not come on I parked the bike now the control screen will not even turn on
Sorry to hear that. What happened? I actually had this happen once but it was a warranty issue with the computer not the screen unit.

Getting the metal seal back on was the hardest part. Took me a while to figure out that it had to bend to snap onto the circular frame. Thanks for the tutorial.

Great thanks, it works but the battery doesn't last long when you hold the throttle at 36mph. About 6 miles.
Wow that seems very low but I I have never tested the range like that though. I also try to use pedal assistance on the highest level so it will hit full speed but still get some exercise and extra range

I think first thing I would do is order those Vee Speedster whitewalls I wish AR would offer a dual-battery X-Class. I don't need dual motors, and I find the Grizzly a bit unattractive.
Any way to change throttle sensitivity?
New controller is the only way, the one it comes with does not allow for that

Congrats on the bike still ride mine all the time. Love it. As for the code as far as I know it's never changed so you should be good. On both 48v and 52v

Not in my experience with them. Their support is 80% why I chose them over others in the first place. But I also don't make the official call on it as at the end of the day it's up to them but over changing a light bulb, No would be my answer

Anyone ever heard of their x-class almost maxing out on speed in pedal assist 1 or 2 after doing this? My bike almost goes 30 mph in pedal assist 1 now. Anyone have any ideas what’s going on?
Never seen that happen with PA but the throttle I know overrides PA so no matter what PA level your on if you use throttle it will max out. But not sure that's what your experiencing
@@electricslide Thanks for the reply. What I mean is, if I’m on PA 1 and pedal (no throttle), I go straight to 25mph. If I go to PA 2 and pedal (no throttle) straight into the 30’s mph. This is not the case with my GFs x-class
@@secretbeach999 if you have pedal assist 0-5 on your speed will be faster when u increase pedal assist compared to 0-9 pedal assist being on, so 0-5 pedal assist will get to top speed faster then 0-9 that could have been your issue if you never figured it out i just happen to be here in 2024 lol if you want more options of controllable speed while using assist 0-9 is the way to go

Did you install new color display? how was wiring if you did?
They told me if you set it more than how fast it can go it screws up the software. I can't tell because mine broke on the second ride 2 months ago and there jerking around getting it fixed. 2 weeks ago said they would send parts, this week said they don't have any. Sounds like I'm not the only one with this issue.

Honestly I wouldn't be able to say. I can only account for myself at 180lbs.

Bike doesn't go faster than 30 mph, If you use GPS is going to show you 30 mph max.

I just got my 52v X class. Ordered the recommended light bulb and didn’t have to make any adjustments. It went right in. Took it out and it’s much much brighter then what came with the bike. I’m not sure why AR skimmed on the most important parts. The display could have been better also.
Agree the headlight could have been upgraded for little money. The display however would also require a more $$$ control unit. So I get that part to keep the price down, color screens are nice but doesn't make my riding experience any different. When you compare the price vs a S73 or others in the same category its a no Brainer imop. Congrats on the 52v ! Hope u enjoy it as much as I enjoy my 48v, unfortunately the 52v hadn't released yet when I ordered mine. Might get another though 🤔
@@electricslide i have several ebikes and want the old school style. After I bought It I was having buyers remorse because I know I don’t need another one. It is fun and going a little faster is ok. I won’t buy another Ebike though. I’m done.

I hit 49 mph on the flat! Is it supposed to go that fast? Everyone else seems to be getting around 36
32 mph is the maximum on the 48 or x52 on GPS go in and change the display from 24 in wheel diameter to 22-in (HD setting) and it will match GPS miles per mile.
If yours read 49 mph somebody changed the HD setting to a high number 24 inch is too high it's supposed to be set at 22 in sounds like somebody went in there and played with it and didn't know what they were doing and set it on a way high number no way or any of them get close to 40 mph much less 49. Check it with the GPS on your phone

Hey what’s up man had a question. So I just got my x class 52v and sometimes when I brake the symbol with the parentheses and a circle around a explanation point pops up kinda like this ((!)) the symbol can be seen when you start up the bike. Just wondering what that symbols stands for and if you would know. Thanks man.
Just to signify that your brakes have been triggered. Example if you see that light and have no throttle power or pedal assist working its because the brake sensor is cutting the power to the motor. Cause could be your brakes are adjusted to tight / close to the point of sensor. But if all is working well it is simply a light showing u are stopping or slowing down.

Irs very easy to mount. Cones with remote. Give a warning when the bike is moved and if it keeps moving or moves again it goes into full panic mode. I had it on here for almost two years before having to replace the batteries. It's noisy enough if your grabbing a coffee and your bikes out front or playing around at a park while it's locked up. I also recommend a apple tab as well as if the bike does get taken the apple tab pings off nearest cell and wifi signals allowing you to track it. Hope this answered your questions
How do i remove the speed limiter on the newest ariel d class? the screen seems to be the newer one and the menu is different than this b/w one here. I've attempted the "reset factory settings" in the menu and nothing... It took MONTHS to receive this thing and I cannot be beat by my Super-73 riding buddy. HELP!
I believe it's the same process overall with the same unlock code. I saw a tutorial on it before. I will look for it and send u the link. Hang in there we will get u flying by those S73's !
