Wii U/Switch Toad Harbor

This would be a great remix to add to Retro Rewind. Its different enough with the different start/end and the fact that it takes place during the sunset makes it stand out more.

Looks awesome. Here are some minor suggestions: 0:39 Bumpiness on the start of this slope due to lack of sticky road. 1:19 Trolley here sticks out really far before turning, a more gradual turn even if it doesn't match the rails would be better I think. 1:51 This post should probably be moved elsewhere so that it doesn't impede this trickramp. 0:11 An extremely nitpicky visual tweak suggestion: perhaps scale the green element far in the background down a lot vertically, so that it feels like distant islands rather than a giant bush in the middle of the ocean.

If this was on MKWii it would have been my favorite track of the game no cap I love it

I'm very happy to see more of these mk8 tracks getting added. Once we can get these all play tested and polished, retro rewind legitimately will be a better game than Mario kart 8 deluxe

Me: What’s so different about this? ZPL: (Proceeds to remove anti gravity entirely from Mario Kart Stadium) Me: How many times do I have to teach you this lesson, ZPL!? Removing the antigravity gives the Wii U tracks NO purpose of being demade for Wii! You’re sucking the fun that comes from driving on the walls, and making the track boring and bland! This isn’t Mario Kart Tour! MKWii can handle a loop and corkscrew from DS Rainbow Road! It can handle a near 90 degree U-turn in both 3DS Rainbow Road, AND in Wii U Mario Kart Stadium! There’s really no reason for anyone to change the track so drastically to get rid of anti gravity, something that MKWii can do fairly well with! Without antigravity, there’s no other reason to bring the course back! Next time, stick to SNES and GBA course remakes. At least those flatass courses can’t be any more flat and boring.

I love this Wii U remakes. Have you considered Wii U Sunshine Airport ? It would be nice to have another version

Amazing work!

Simply being able to see the turn coming up thanks to the fences is such a good change. This track has such an akward layout so that makes a world of difference. Hoping that cut doesn't have consistency issues, it looks like it's cutting it so close to hitting the fence.

You always know exactly what to do to improve custom retros, I'm rly glad we have someone that understands what makes good track design behind the new most popular distribution. 👑

Amazing adaptation to the Wii style!

I’m a huge fan of all your retro track remakes as well as how you recreate the retro's original design along with a remake of the newer versions from MK8DX and MKT. I would hope that one day you remake GBA Boo Lake based off of the GBA version with a style similar of your GBA Broken Pier. Best retro track creator by far.

I've always found MK8(DX) tracks to be hit or miss when de-made in Mario Kart Wii. This leans towards a hit. ^^

I guess I shall keep the running gag going from the ChaosShadow era: Add Sylveon or riot! 🤪 Jokes aside, I always liked this theme way more, even if it's a bit too much water, this actually shows about ribbons and the road being one big ribbon. Glad to see this one getting a bit more love at least. 👍🏻

Thank god this is coming because this track was making me lose my marbles in worldwides. Couldn't tell any offroad from each other and the track was bumpier than DKM for what seemed like no reason

I feel like it still needs a lot more work before being added to the pack, even if this does fix a bunch of issues. It's almost entirely in the last section: it's way too slanted and therefore miserable to drive on, and the lightning comes from offscreen, looks visually terrible, and is way too hazardous due to how fast it moves with no warning. If the last section was remodeled to be way less slanted, and had the lightning removed, the track would be okay. I hope you're taking feedback.

i always love how you morph tracks into the MKWii style while keeping the original intact. ZPL tracks are always something special.
