This film has always kept me reflecting how great it was at the time. Can't pick out particular aspect, except I saw it with someone who I saw more movies with than anyone. We saw two movies a week for almost two three years, took it for granted that the there experience would be here forever. Then it died.

It's January 2025 and I have lost the stomach for movies about dystopias.

Everyone keeps saying this “dystopian world” in the comments does no one realize how close we are to this almost being a documentary?

My brain saw Picasso when I watched this the first time but I just now noticed the painting is Guernica about the Nazi bombing. What a amazing thing to put in this scene in particular.
