Cushman Truckster Ignition

Short video on how to wire up a cushman OMC truckster ignition. You will need one resister/ballast, two coils (or one onan coil with 2 spark plug wires). Run a wire from the key to any side of the resistor, should have 12 volts when the key is in the On position. Well I was just playing with my Cut the Rope box, it got sucked up by a loud, dangerous monster! It took a while too get it out, but when I did, it ate it again!
Doesn’t seem to loud in the video. Do you get a drone from in the cab? I am looking for something that has a nice rumble but not obnoxious

hi. nice video.i need help .i have 1977 cushman truckster 8984178-77-10. having ignition issue .if i don't give 12v on coil will not start .but if i put 12. on coil it runs .i burn i points already .any help.ty
The muffler cap on thay model is the same as the intake cap on my model ;) funny how they do that
