@@iDoqz Lucid was kinda just a placeholder name from when I initially wrote the song over a year ago. I think the new name plays nicely off of the "mirrors showing no one" lyric, as well as the final track on the album.

I keep coming back to your songs, there’s such a wonderful blend of influences and everything’s so well-written! What are your favorite bands?
The Contortionist is probably the band I rip off the most, as well as btbam. Recently I’ve been getting more into bands like Loathe, newer Thornhill and Vildhjarta. There’s also stuff like Sleep Token, Devin Townsend, Gojira, Tesseract, Silent Planet, Meshuggah, Deftones, the likes. Pretty much every one of these new songs has direct nods to some influence of mine, I don’t particularly try to hide it either.

@@iDoqz there’s a reason Kin has “I start to Loathe the talks Between the Buried and Myself” and ITGSOT has “Drift with the ebb & flow, sink in the ebb & flow” as lyrics. There’s other stuff like “walk reverse” in this track and some melodic nods as well.

Ok I know I'm very late to this and you've moved on. However, still wanted to say I'm enjoying the races. More importantly, it encouraged me to try the mod again. I've had it for a few years and tried it on a few occasions but always found it too difficult to drive. Your videos encouraged to me to get stuck into a full season. I've done so and really got stuck into tuning the setups. With softer suspension and less aggressive differential, I can finally drive the cars! (Using Neweycs first F1 car, the March) And they, and the old circuits, are really enjoyable. Of course, like you, I'm now too quick for the AI but not so quick I can afford to make mistakes or that I don't worry about some of the upcoming tracks, especially any with crazy high kerb chicanes. And as I got into F1 in the early 80s and saw my first live race at Brands Hatch in 86, I love this period. So sitting in VR next to Prost, Mansell and Senna is just great.😀 So thanks again, even if I am 4 years too late!
