In the beginning points to many chapters in the book of Genesis. Jesus is the lamb, Isaacs replacement, replacing the image of Abraham killing an innocent man. Jesus (father figure) is then crucified by the children of Abraham. Before Abraham was your father, I am his sacrifice. Logos (word of God) is anything made manifested by God through the logos from the mind of man. Its the bridge/Gap between the two minds. GOD 👉🏼LOGOS👈🏼 MAN ××We are the creator××

Its interesting that in genesis after completion is says everything was good. The end is seen in the beginning, then the foundation is built. Adam is taken up out of the ground and then breathes in to becoming living.... rewind, stop living, drop dead, buried in the soil. Ultrasounds reveal an image of an unborn child wrapped up neatly sleeping in the womb..... Jesus's image was found neatly wrapped up in the tomb, reveling he was born to die. 😊

A little insight to reading from the end... Revelation 22:21 KJV [21] The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 1:8 KJV [8] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. And from the womb/tomb he's ultrasound reveals, a mighty miracle of life snuggled up all neat and tidy, my little child of light. As he was pulled out from his womb, he his lifted up into my arms, as he took his first breath in through his nostrils, our little bundle of joy, ready to face the world. Who knows how he's life will end, this is just the beginning. (From the end)

I’m researching the word dust because of the curse against Satan. To eat dust. And how man was made from dust by God and given life by God’s breathe. So when we see how death is a punishment of sin, and death the body becomes dust, I wonder if the devil causes so much death so he can eat. And also thinking about how man tries to preserve bodies (so they don’t become dust) and how even some religion prohibits cremation. It’s very interesting and I know there’s a lot of references to people being dust. So it’s very cool to think about how God created us.

Is it possible that central names are being reused as well and are those names somehow connected? For example, James is also the patriarch Jacob; Joseph is the father of Jesus, and Jesus is Joshua?

After watching countless videos, and reading many books on these topics, the idea of ET's or Star beings having their hand in everything makes sense to me. There is some interesting video interviews with Grand Master Templar Timothy Hogan, where he exposes many of the ancient secrets...one of them being that the bones of Jesus, Mary Magdalene, John the Baptist along with children they had are preserved in their care. Timothy states that Jesus snd John's head's are elongated. This is very intriguing, and would explain how Mary could have been a case of an obduction...also why John and Jesus had such powerful capabilities, as did the pharaohs. I will add that at 7 years of age, I had an experience with a being of light that manifested in my bedroom...this being looked light skinned, light blue eyes, and very blonde silky hair. I was told that I am never alone. I felt safe and loved. I was told and shown a star that I am connected to. I didn't talk to anyone about this until I was an adult. I knew no one in my family would have believed it. To this day(now I am 62) the memory is crystal clear, and I absolutely feel that i am never alone. It was not a dream. What is your opinion on Timothy Hogan? Thank you.

As a former Catholic (now atheist), the Old Testament was never emphasized since it was considered the covenant that Jesus superseded and made irrelevant (except, of course, for the parts that were conveniently considered a prophecy of Jesus as the Messiah). I’m very much enjoying the historical and literary origins of these myths as part of the larger pantheon that humans created to explain existence. Thank you for sharing your expertise.

why has this been kept from us for so long and why is it not something that is discussed often?? Especially as an ex orthodox Jew to me this is clear as day. I wish someone had presented this to me before I decided to spend 4 years studying from 6:30am - 9:30pm 6 days/week in Rabbinical College. I would have rather become pilot or even a Biblical scholar myself if I knew right after lol.. I couldve at least applied my knowledge of language and ANE philosophies to this. It is time to wake the world up. I am finding this extremely important to push mankind into our next era. Imagine if we didnt have to worry about ANY of the Abrahamic religions being more than mythology? That would solve much of the middle east (not the oil, however). It could bring about the idea of either a 2 state solution or 1 country with equal rights between Israelis and Palestinians. I mean, anyone can say what they want about Israel but the FACT is they are a powerful State, Nuclear power & are not going ANYWHERE. If the indoctrinations went away I could see them sitting at the table.. where it looks impossible in the climate there. Please keep up this great work all of you are doing. I would love to get involved and bring my knowledge of Chassidic & Rabbinical Judaism to the table.

I read your comment and can empathize with you. So many of us were raised in a religion that claimed to be the "One And ONLY Truth" and it took from us many years of our lives that we can't get back. You'll find that many people who were raised in religions like "Fundamentalists" or other Christian groups that claim to be the only ones with the "real" truth, ex-Mormons, ex-JWs, and ex-Muslims, and ex-Buddhists, will all share similar feelings as you have. Abrahamic religions tend to be the ones most people come from, due to each of them claiming to have the only True God. However, ex-Buddhists have some exposés that are rather frightening as well. If you contact John Dehlin who runs channel "Mormon Stories Podcast" he will probably be very interested in your story. He has a huge following, and half are non-Mormon/never been Mormon, while the other half are ex-Mormon or liberal Mormon. Mormonism is interesting because it was concocted during an era when there's a strong civilization and a written historical record showing how it was started by a Con Artist pretending to be a Prophet, yet around 17 million people believe he was a TRUE Prophet today. And the True Believers can look evidence in the face, evidence that overwhelming shows their entire religion is a flat-out brazen "Con," yet they refuse to allow the evidence to bring them to reality. I do think John Dehlin will be interested in your story, because ex-Mormons would be fascinated by it. The same thing appears to be a similar case with those who have left Islam. Those who have seen through it can't get through to the True Believers. Unfortunately in this case there are some teachings in the religion that lead to very bad behaviours and mindset. I strongly encourage you to get a book by an Ex-Muslim, titled "Why I am Not a Muslim" by Ibn Warraq. It's available for free on the internet in pdf form. Read the warnings, especially that he provides. Not every culture teaches people to get along with others -- some are downright destructive, especially in their aims to fulfil prophecy. Channel Apostate Prophet, and channel Harris Sultan, speak about this. I hope things go well for you.

@@Decision_Justice How would I contact this John Dehlin? I have actually been in contact with an ex Muslim who might be interested in collaborating w me.. I have to get back to her. But things are coming together to where I might actually be able to put in the time needed in doing something like this, ie a youtube channel or podcast. My sister reminded me my education wasnt a waste. for example, I can look at the Dead sea scrolls & such and just start reading them as they were written lol, & understand the mindset of the authors & their audience. Things like that &more. Anyways, something I like about this group of people, like Derek from Mythvision pod & others; is I totally agree w him that once we accept these texts as mythologies; they become rather extraordinary expressions of the human experience. Its like putting on the correct reading lenses, It totally changes what these things can & should be/mean. I have not shut my mind out of creative thinking & simply become atheist... tho I was atheist at a point. But after a special magic mushroom experience; i came to some sort of understanding there MIGHT BE more than meets the eye..but i do not beleive it is what most people think/mean when they say "god"--but what's great, is im at peace w saying "i honestly don't know & don't beleive it even matters to know; tho glimpses are cool (OR; maybe shrooms are just excellent! LOL theyre intelligent beings that have been on this planet billions of years haha. But as these laws show; I beleive all who are sane have an internal moral compass and we choose to listen to it or not. I also beleive, as we advance in science/ knowledge, we know stupid things like being gay are not wrong but it is wrong to act hurtful towards others, esp for the way they were born. But that's totally off topic. Anyways, I truly appreciate your empathy and response. I will have to check out your recommended channels. I will say this; I feel fortunate that in my sect of Chassidic Judaism from where I come, we never did things out of fear of hell or the reward of heaven..things of which nobody within the religion truly understands anyways. But we were taught that we were altering the physical world by our performance of mitzvot. Therefore, I can still relate to the concept of doing the right thing, simply because it is the right thing and that has been a tremendous help in my deconstruction from religion. tho there was definitely anger at "god" & other issues I had to figure out. But where knowledge has changed my life completely; is orthodox Judaism is an intense way of life and comes with things that are nice but also stupid; and i HATE bigotry and the foolishness of not understanding we are all equal. It is nice to be able to throw the bathwater out and keep the baby.. as the cherry picking is not morals rather cultural practices based on mythology. Anyways, again thanks for your response and info, and if you could connect me with or direct me towards John Dehlin that would be awesome!! Have a great week!! 😎

@@baruchgoldberg6280 I agree with you that as we advance in science we learn more, and it's especially important that we stop believing things that are causing harm to people, such as believing that being gay is wrong. That belief has caused a tremendous amount of harm. It's one of the things many of the ex-Mormon groups are trying to change. John Dehlin is an ex-Mormon (but we are all still culturally "Mormon.") To find him, google "Mormon Stories" and go to their website. Scroll down to the bottom and click on "Contact." I would mention in my message to him that you’re from Chassidic Judaism and went to Rabbinical school for 4 years. And that you have been trained on how to put yourself in the mindset of the writers of the Hebrew Bible. Just so you have some basic understanding of Mormonism, The Book of Mormon claims to be a record of the inhabitants of the American continents starting with a man named Lehi (and his family) who left Jerusalem around 600 BCE (before it was destroyed by the Babylonians). A believing Mormon believes it is a Book of Scripture that was given to us from God through Joseph Smith. Those of us who are former believers have figured out that the entire religion is the result of a Con. Joseph Smith was a Con Artist. He claimed Lehi (from the Book of Mormon) brought with him to America a book written on Brass Plates that he had gotten in Jerusalem. Joseph Smith claimed this book was written in "Egyptian". Yes, he actually claimed that the Jewish people of Jerusalem in 600 BCE were writing their sacred scriptures in the Egyptian language upon Brass Plates. He then also claimed the Book of Mormon was a translation of some other metal plates that were "Golden Plates," and this was the sacred religious record of the ancient American people. And that they wrote this record in "Reformed Egyptian." Joseph Smith makes one of the heroes in the Book of Mormon claim that the reason they wrote their scriptures in "Reformed Egyptian" was to conserve space. That writing in Hebrew would have taken up a great deal more space. Former believers think it was just because, at the time, Joseph Smith wanted to claim a language that was then undecipherable. Smith also claimed these Ancient Americans kept "The Law of Moses." Joseph Smith dictated The Book of Mormon to various scribes. He didn't know much about the Law of Moses, however, so, he quickly had these Ancient Americans practicing Baptism and preaching Christianity, even though he claimed they were living by the "Law of Moses." Several million people still believe all that, and Believe the Book of Mormon is just as much scripture as is the Bible. To stop believing in Mormonism makes you a Pariah, and in the eyes of the True Believer Mormons(TBM) a really bad sinner. Did you learn in your studies what the Urim and Thummin were? Joseph Smith claimed God gave him "the Urim and Thummin" and that this was a device to help him translate the Book of Mormon. Mormons still believe that. However, firsthand accounts of Joseph Smith "translating" say that he put a special rock he had into a hat (this was 1829), then put his face into the hat and the rock would glow with the correct word on it. Yes, it sounds crazy, but I used to believe the Book of Mormon and everything Joseph Smith said was the actual word of God. Pretty much all of my family still believes it, and has believed it since 1831. Anyway, it would be great to ask you about the likelihood of a couple of the other claims, since you went for Rabbinical Training. And John Dehlin might enjoy getting your viewpoint to share with his audience about the claims of the Book of Mormon (such as writing in Hebrew taking up too much space and Egyptian being a better language to write the entire Old Testament in). And some of the claims of Joseph Smith: he later hired a Sephardic Jewish man to teach him some Hebrew, and I wonder if some of Mormon Theology came from tales by this Sephardic man. You might be a good source for us to discover whether or not some of the Cosmology and Theology Joseph Smith later developed came from Jewish mysticism. I know you're probably quite busy, but it would be interesting to hear some more from you. Thanks!

also the separation of the waters and their eventual combination is connected to chaos and order in various ways and places in Judaism. Things Ive said already all applies to the waters or water themes. It's a big Jewish theme Ex: Leviathan and Behemoth (Wild Ox) killing each other simultaneously to provide the meal of the messiah.. Per Zohar, Leviathan=chaos and spirituality and Behemoth=Order and the physical world. Parshas Noach where it starts off : אֵ֚לֶּה תּֽוֹלְדֹ֣ת נֹ֔חַ נֹ֗חַ Last 2 words=Noach Noach & represent satisfaction and repose in 2 different spheres. Sphere of Chaos and sphere of Order. The word Noach/Noah means "satisfaction & repose.") Theres also a story of the Rabbis who went to PARDES. In Zohar it says "when you reach a pure place spiritually, dont say "water, water" due to being in a pure place the waters can be combined. There's an entire thing on what this means if anyone interested www.chabad.org/kabbalah/article_cdo/aid/380344/jewish/Four-Who-Entered-Paradise.htm Again, now that I realize these are mythology and expounding on things already in older Semitic theologies, I find them interesting again. I like the trains of thought, etc. Please understand I am not preaching lol.. i am recognizing similarities in thought that connect the Genesis and Enumah Elish verses even in ways the simple text doesn't allude to... but Kabbalah and such and have the same ideas that Dr. Matt understands the theme just from looking at the simple text. Intelligent guy

Is Tiamat in it's original language look like תְה֑וֹם? is it like Tehomat? I used to be an orthodox Rabbi & the reason this is so striking is it also matches mystical/Kabbalistic (Zohar and Midrashic) interpretations of these texts. The separation of Chesed/Gevurah. Chesed alone (linked with the divine name YHVH) lead to chaos. While Gevurah alone (associated w divine name Elohim) is order and was too extreme and the vessels couldnt handle the Order. So, the creation of this world *the world of Asiyah or action) is a combination of Chesed/Gevurah. IE the perfect mixture of Chaos and Order is what created this physical world we live in. (And this mixture is called Tiferet.) It's also funny as upon learning this stuff we are told to be careful not to think of these attributes (called the 10 Sefirot) as gods, rather as divine attributes or emanations from the one god. what's funny is it always seemed ridiculous to me to even have to explain that to anyone learned in Judaism. But, now it makes sense, as these attributes were once deities. Just like all the different names for God. Like YHVH and EL. "Hear Israel, YHVH is your EL and YHVH is one." Which is weird... but then when you find out EL was its own Canaanite/Israelite deity, as was YHVH who basically usurped him. But now they are just different emanations of the same thing. There's even an entire doctrine on how Elohim is connected to the creation and shields us from YHVH, so "he" doesnt nullify us as it is the only thing that truly exists. This is expounded from Psalm 84:12 (Hebrew) כִּ֚י שֶׁ֨מֶשׁ | וּמָגֵן֘ יְהֹוָ֪ה אֱלֹ֫הִ֥ים. "Because a sun and shield is YHVH Elohim.." (Sun= YHVH Shield (from the sun)= Elohim. As a sunray is nullified inside the sun, but can exist separated from the sun, Elohim provides such separation to allow existence. Anyways this is stuff from the Sefer Tanya, which basically turned the divine names into programming codes. But we know the ancients saw EL as a deity and YHVH as a deity, OMG, I just texted a lesson from Judaism in your comments LMAO, Anyways, yea its funny that the Zohar's nd Midrash's take on these verses are the same as the Enumah Elish's, as well as the obvious things you point out from the simple text. You would've made a good Rabbi that you actually notice these factors in the plain text.
