Hi, my L2 arrived yesterday from Japan, almost mint, cant wait to get out there with it, well done only having the two film cameras, Ive been collecting film cameras for years, especially when everything went digital I was getting them given me. It got to the point where I had about 140 cameras, some on display, some I used but most just collected. I decided about six months ago to sell 120 of them and use the money to buy four or five cameras Ive always wanted but couldn't justify. So my collection is almost sold and Ive bought some lovely cameras. I agree the sound of the shutter on the L2/L3 is lovely and quiet and the whole camera is engineered beautifully. Quand on a une pellicule dans l'appareil comme le vôtre, si la pellicule de sensibilité fait 400 i s o, et qu'on pousse au développement, votre film lui reste à 400, mais ici on joue sur le contraste et ce qui peut se passer dans le révélateur avec le film. Quand vous voyez suffisamment de grain dans cet intérieur un peu agrandi avec le poste de radio, c'est ce que vous aurez en poussant le film ou alors prendre des films hautes sensibilités qui vous donneront quelque chose de similaire. Entre la vue normale et celle sous ex d'un diaphragme, je ne vois pas la différence entre les photos. Ne condamnez pas le grain, car il peut apporter un plus sur certaines photos. Par curiosité, faites un essai en sur exposant de 400 à 200 vous serez satisfait du résultat (développement à 4OO )

Hello Chang. Nice video. Don’t leave your lovely rangefinder in the sun, without the lens hood. The sun will damage the shutter curtains, since the lens will act as a magnifying glass. Rangefinders are more vulnerable than slr’s, where the mirror project the curtains from the sun. Blessings from a 64 year old photographer from Denmark. ❤❤❤

I think the camera is capable of shooting any speed of film as the asa dial is just as a reminder of the film inside. There’s no internal light meter so it can’t differentiate between 100 or 800 speed film. Just gotta make sure you meter appropriately 🙂

3 moths with GAS and having only 2 cameras? Thats is still very reasonable, especially as those cameras are not used similarly. Also the scans seem to be very bleached (not talking about the C41). How was the scanning done?

just found one with a metal shutter curtain in pretty much flawless condition.
