Have you ever wondered why there are no high-rise buildings in Berlin? The answer is swampy soil.
This is cool
Moscow State University wasn't built on the site of the palace, MSU was built on the Sparrow Hills a few kilometres away. On the site of Palace of the Soviets was built a swimming pool, and then the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour was rebuilt.
The tower's ugly design and its imposing height of 210 meters sparked a public outcry, led to a height ban of building with no more than 37 meters in Paris. It is a real pity! 😅
5:30 why showing this when talking about the demolishing of parts of Berlin??? No relation at all.
🇮🇳🇮🇳💍💎
Good channel here, thanks for adding the names on these

Bro commented in Hungarian under an ENGLISH video about GERMANY💀 MILYEN CSODÁS EZ A NAP🗣🗣🔥🔥🇭🇺🇭🇺
@@way_of_phx You like multiculti aren't you?
Somewhere in a parallel universe this place actually exist.
Which software use in?
My favorite scene in anime is in the Tanya the evil movie where Tanya and her squad destroy the building with the statue of the Stalin of that universe, She came from another universe but it was never built and she knew of the project. Thank god it was just a pipe dream cause Roumaina still has the god awful Palace taking space with no clear usage in their Capital.
First, your German pronunciation is horrible! Second, Berlin is built on a swamp so it could never have supported the weight of the Volkshalle or the triumphant arch.
@@vintagehaynesflute The voice is AI.
It could actually Ur not german to know how to design
Trump’s dream
They didn't had to made it... Kaiser moved to Kapitol Hill..
I like to call this particular monstrosity, the tit!! 😂
the maginot line did its job, it did, what it was supposed to do, belgium at the other hand didn't do its job, that was the problem and not the maginot line.

💚 Thank u for sharing… 💚
your videos are very well made. i think a human voice would greatly help you grow more!
yup
NAH world capitol 💀
Ya it was meant to be world capital of nazi world order
Absolutely insightful 💚🍀
So.Nazis invaded just to stop construction??? Also I fong it interesting 1986 Cernobyl bombed 1989 Ignalina never finished 3 Darkseid Boxes THE GRID every time comunist being great= they get bombed... wow though to be Commie
Oh really? You will? Not with that computer aided voice.
If you know Mumbai Diamond merchants, you will know they will cover the building in Paan Spit in a matter of few days 😂😂😂
Such an uninspiring design inside out. It may be green, sustainable and huge - but lacks any pleasing artefacts let alone any cultural touch. Disappointing!
Worst architecture I have ever seen.

Bro what
fascinating. where did you get the visualizations of the city in the final section? they are very well done especially the night time shot.
I think it’s behind the scenes content for “man in the highcastle” which shows a version of history if Germany won WW2. I remember seeing clips of it elsewhere about how they made the CGI
No wonder Hitler was rejected from art school, his art was terrible. Germania was completely unoriginal, and just a scaled up immitation of Ancient Greece or Rome but without any soul. The fact that Germany had to import marble for Hitler's vanity project rather than do anything original is extra pathetic. I think of that Shrek quote on Lord Farquaad's castle "you think maybe he's compensating for something?"
So what about todays art ?😂😂😂
The place look cool wtf are u talking about lol Now what about ur art? Can you do art?
2:13 The what ?
A 2-minute video on Brutalism, is the most brutalist thing ever.
The preferred architecture of tyrants and dystopias everywhere.
Especially the most special ones! Nice video.
Only the ones that are soothing to the soul.
Irritating robo voice made me terminate this video after only ten seconds because it's irritating as fuck and makes the video unwatchable. Have you even listened to this shit?
Wow, great Video! This Architecture amazes me every time anew. My great-grandmother still tells me how they were pumped full of Nazi propaganda on TV and how you were told that Berlin will soon be called Germania and become the world capital. Those were depressing times back then.
Volkshalle should be pronounced "folks - HAH - ley", not "volk - shall". They spoke (and still speak) German in Germany.
"folks - HAH - le"*
Hitler's ideas of city design were straight out of "Metropolis". Giant monolithic buildings that just shrunk its human inhabitants down to the level of ants. Crushing concrete monstrosities that just pandered to his boundless megalomania.
