Ive had my black sod buster since the late 70's. It was oxidizing to the point where it was gray. I was working up at Bradford, and took it up there, along w/ some broken Zippo inserts. They replaced the inserts there, then mailed the knife back to me in 2 weeks. All cleaned up and looking new, all for no cost. Good people there. Im a pocket clip man myself, in fact I rarely consider a knife w/out a clip, but Im not sure how I feel about a clip on the sodbuster though....

The information you gave is wrong in the 90s they use Diamond Wood which was a layered impregnated wood. Crelicam is a mill in Africa owned by the Taylor Guitar Company who partnered with buck knives to use actual ebony wood for the handles and that is a recent development for ethically harvested sustainable ebony wood that started Circa 2021. What makes the steel is the incredible heat treatment from Paul bos. This is a good review though thank you

OK, guys... I just bought this knife last month, but I got the one with red scales and spiders....10$. I really thought it was going to be a crappy, shit-tastic Chinese knife......NOPE. It came semi-sharp, but; 30 minutes on my Lansky sharpener, and this will shave a mouses butt cheeks. Put it to my torture test for edge, a piece of seasoned Water Oak branch I use to burn/heat the garage......its AWESOME ?! It says it is 440c, I dont know, but it carn get razor sharp and it works ok. Not D2 good, not VG-10 good.....but for 10$ ??!! Ok. thats all.

Mine won't fit a standard Stanley blade. The cutouts in the blades supplied with the knife are ever so slightly wider. The Stanley blade cutouts could probably be hogged out to fit, which I'll try when I go thru the ones the knife came with.

I recently got the Klarus for work (security) and have been very pleased. My only criticism is that it lacks a momentary on/off feature ie tactical; I'd also like to have the red lens as an accessory. I use a holster by LAPG with mine, but a specific one for the light would be great. As a side note the Hong Kong police adopted a more expensive one by the same maker. Great review!

I just picked up the mini Leatherneck with the dagger blade about a week ago, and I can confirm it's awesome! Using it as a neck knife, it's so sharp out of the box and held in well by the sheath. It's the perfect small defensive knife. I almost want somebody to attack me just to test it out. jk

I agree, I have said Mini Leatherneck Dagger. What I like about it, is if you have to use it to defend yourself. You don't have to worry about edge alignment, since its double edged.

I just don't care all that much for them. Even after a couple years of regular carry, the alox still feels a bit slippery in my hand. It's not terrible, but I prefer the celador scales
