Toyota Prius #Prius Dashboard Darkness Problem No Dash Lights #Gen2 Permanent Fix 2004-2009
I have a very very very simple workaround for the Generation 2 Prius Dashboard Light issue. It's a very well-known problem, and the permanent fix is to replace a circuit board on the "cluster" inside / underneath the dashboard. There's a place in TX that sells the board for $150 and a local guy near me in the western suburbs of Chicago will install it for around $100. I have yet to do it because I have since found this easy workaround and I just might stick with this.

Update.... the truck and driver has been found. He as given 3 tickets, improper lane usage, reckless driving and NO VALID CDL. Go figure. Can anyone identify this truck? License plate is 16596? Uknown state but there seems to be a logo on the left side of the plate. fleet # 1319 on truck, #1316 on the trailer. JB across the top. BMS Transportation on the door. Here's a few pix & some video showing my Total Solar Eclipse experience as seen from Murphysboro, IL. You can see a million pictures and videos, but you really need to experience this yourself... you need to witness the sun disappearing with your own eyes to understand and feel the sheer awesomeness. All the pix and video in the world are cool.... but nothing compares to actually witnessing it.
What kind of bug is this???

Captured on my security camera July 26, 2017. I'm told it kind of looks like a Mud Dauber... but the thing is HUGE! It seems to be about the size of a bird.... and the way it switches direction on a dime.... what in the world is this thing?

This is Chuck K8CR on April 6 around 0630z. He's trying to work VK0EK on 80m. As the DX world knows, VK0EK works split, and listens down around 1-5khz or so. Not only was K8CR not listening for VK0EK, but he was calling VK0EK right on the transmit frequency, creating DQRM and possibly preventing many DXers from working VK0EK.
