We live on 6 acres behind us but a neighborhood before us. We have a heeler lab mix that struggles with the boundary. We have tried ecollars and we lock him in his kennel when he goes outside his boundary. He is very bright and thinks about wether or not to listen to us. When he comes back he goes straight into his kennel, knowing thats the punishment. How do you enforce boundaries? He's about 2 yrs old.
Thank you!
Yes everyone who owns a dog should know this picking up the back legs might stop the fight but it will get you bit.
He said Air Supply…I’m all out of love!!!
Do you have any e-collar training courses??
I did this instinctively when a 2 year old amstaff/pitbull latched onto the face of a 1 year old same breed, I had a bad conscience about that and thought I did something wrong for 10 years until I learned about this. Thank you for sharing information like this.
This is one reason to use a dominant dog collar. ua-cam.com/video/YqFJ6w-tBrk/v-deo.html
A long video with the whole process would have been so wholesome! Amazing transformations
My two beautiful girls had a fight while I was driving i had to stop in the rosd and my dad and me tried to stop them fighting we managed to separate them with a screwdriver and my dad had his fingers in the mouth of one luckily we went to injured and even though ive had dogs for 30 years I really didn't know this trick both dogs wear leather chokers permanently now and they are both looking very sorry for themselves i can't understand why it happened they have been together for nearly 2 years with no problems one is only still in the puppy / adolescent stage im so grateful for your video thank you
Terrible advice. You obviously have never broken up a vicious dog fight. Please don't take this guys advice. You will end being bitten or attacked.
😂 and your expert advice is to do what exactly?
Hi Antonio, for you to be great and confident coach with dogs it means you are first of all a confident person. Would you recommend any books for having your same mindset and also if you recommend any book or advice to raise kids i would be more than appreciative. Thanks in advance
Very interesting
What would be some options for a release word? Could you use free like you do when you let them go play off leash and leave their crate? Like making free a universal release work.
Excellent!
So what do you do? I’m experiencing this with my border collie.
I have a dog reactive dog but only when she is on leash. I do have an e-collar on her at all times when we are out. And I can vibrate her if she starts to hone in on another dog and I very rarely, very rarely .. have to shock her. But I am big on trying to catch her before she builds and goes completely ape shit. But even to this day on leash she still acts a fool. I have tried giving her treats when she is behaving. As well as vibrating her if I notice she's fixed on something. E-collars are why I can take her out into the woods and just go on a hike. She listens all the time. But I keep that on her for just in case purposes of her not listening to what she is told.
<3
When you are saying choke them out, are you suggesting killing them when you choke them out?
Works on mother in laws too.
Sh sh don't tell
LMAO
Nope...I've tried
💯
Amazing episode thank you!!!!
This video was really needed. So many people have no idea . Thank you. Especially like all the ways you demonstrated too!
I’m sad my question didn’t get answered, hopefully next time. I really appreciate this podcast

Great advice!
Where are you located?
so crazy. the dog is just fearfull and thinks he has to protect. we clear these behaviour without painfull hurting leashes behind the ears. just by standing in front of them (like giving protection) for about 10 times - each a few seconds or minutes - whatever the situation allows) and then the dog allready searches for this possition himself. often it is even faster. so many tell me: it won't work with my dog. i explain, we do it and continue talking and people realize: oh, these where two bikes/two dogs/two running people - the dog didn't even care. you americans are allways fighting, searching for pain, struggle, fights, violence. you prisons are full, your children are hurt, your people are homeless and beaten up. why can you not be a peacefull civilized country, leading your people peacefull instead of violent. you have so much violence in your country and you bring it over the whole world. it is a shame. and the worst is that really innocent animals suffer from it. but you do not even want to educate yourself about painfree training. you are so full of aggression that fighting instead of cooperation is second nature to your country. it will lead to ww3. 😞
Ok it went from 0 to a 100 fast 😳
I have never used a prong collar, e-collar or a chain collar. I learned that by using any collar, my girl chokes herself until she loses consciousness. So I got a really good harness. She no longer pulls. She listens better. Every once in a while I have to remind her with a little tug on the leash because she gets overly excited when she sees people she loves. She knows over 30 commands and even some tricks. She has no aggression at all. She is a big love bug. She is an American Staffordshire Terrier, Pitbull Terrier and American Bulldog mix. She is a registered ESA. Best dog ever.❤
I'd be too worried about other people trying to take them.
lol, that would never happen
But you use aggressive tools, like prongs, martingales and e collars, so your dogs don't really learn, they're just scared of the consequences.
How do you know that?
He's one of the dogs. @@TigerGaming-sf9tv
And yet my dogs aren't wearing any collars so your math ain't mathin' 🤷🏻♂️ And if you think using e collars and prongs equals fear, you've been lied to. Don't act like you know anything about what I do.
@@leaderofthepacklv Those dogs are highly disciplined little furballs of love.
@leaderofthepacklv you show in your videos that you use them though.
Such great content! so happy I came across your UA-cam channel! Would love any advise for Mini Bullterriers and their stubborn personality. very smart dogs for their own good <3. i love mine but definitely a lot of discipline and consistent training.
Does your online program include leash work? I’m very tempted to get it but that’s one area I’m struggling and would love more support. I did your place guide and my puppy is doing really good
It does not for outside the house. It's focused on creating boundaries and handling in the home.
Ahhh, another episode! Glad to see you're making more content.
Thank you. Glad you enjoy it!
Ty
Wow thank you so much
Thank you The way you demonstrated helps me remember/recall this important advice. Thank you kindly sir.
why do you think that is?
it's actually in my opinion not in a vet's interest to advise that because they do that to minimize the risk of your dog picking up something that could make them sick.
I feel jumping is such a grey area especially when we have no control over people reactions to dogs. I even have a big red don’t pet ignore sign on my dog and people still just feel so entitled to come and pet him and I will try to be like no he can’t jump and they will be like I don’t care. 😩 I usually walk away when people try to in training dog but sometimes people are not respectful Also thanks for taking the time to do this podcast is awesome and I have learned so much!! My dog is almost a pro at place because of your technique 🤣
thanks for your support! Jumping is definitely more difficult when people are not following your instructions. I always ask people if they can help, which works better than telling people what they can't do.
I did laugh btw
